Hotel Lavi — Hotel in Quintana Roo

Although the rooms are quite small, it had nearly everything needed for a stay. The hotel as its own ‚concrete‘ style, so do not expect a luxury resort. It‘s the ideal place for backpackers and people who do not need a lot of space (e.g. no light next to the bed and bathroom is direclty next to the bed without a ‚real‘ door).||Aircon, king size bed, beach towels and fresh water were all provided. Also super friendly staff! The only thing that was missing in the room are a fridge and safe. However, for the price we stayed there it was overall a perfect stay. So considering the ‚low‘ price, an excellent 5/5 stars rating. ||There is a (really) small pool and some restaurants around the hotel. A bakery is located directly next to the hotel, so perfect spot for breakfast.||10-15min walking to the beach, or you can take the taxi...

What an amazing hotel and such a lovely couple who own it! Although it was rainy and windy the whole time we were in mahahaul we still didn't want to leave as we enjoyed chatting to our hosts so much. Thet also had great dining suggestions. Room was clean and modern. The shower was super hot so watch out! Make sure you check out the food truck at the beginning of the street!

The hotel is in the town rather than at the beech which we really preferred. Gets you away from the cruise ships and the bulk tourists...

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Lavi. Carlos the owner was so hospitable and kind, he takes the extra steps to ensure you are totally comfortable in his hotel.
