Sand Mar Hotel — Hotel in Sonora

The only thing that was nice is the building is new. Here are my negatives: right off a major road noise travels between rooms. Someone 3 doors down shuts their door or goes to the bathroom, you hear it perfectly. basically no internet. I couldn’t even stream an audio podcast… no hot tub bad parking (typical Mexico though) beds as hard as the floor pillows that are useless Try a real resort. Great little hotel for those quick last minute trips down. Building was newer and in good condition and well maintained, rooms were clean, and staff was friendly. Security is out front at night to watch over things, and he was also very considerate letting us enjoy the pool a few extra minutes, he was a Very friendly guy. Location isn't ideal if you're here for her beach or shopping... not much in walking distance besides a pharmacy and smoke shop. Certainly would stay...

Relatively new building with modern look, interior decorations are also modern, bed was comfortable, upgraded faucets and such in bathroom A+, never used the pool, so no comment other then it looked inviting, parking at the time was plentiful, surrounding area... Food, beer and pharmacy essentials can be had with a walking distance, including beach access, check-in/out...
