So I'm giving this place a 3 star because the service was great and the food was quick to come out wasn't busy at all we went on Thursday we actually were staying at a different hotel way down the beach we had walked 2 miles not realizing the time the prices were actually pretty affordable then most places at the resorts unsure if we were allowed in or not it seemed perhaps we weren't.. towards the end..
They had some saftey concerns and the security guy outside helped keep my decision on that as well only reason why I gave it a 3 star they seemed to have been doing remodeling at another bar?? I think... but there was a ton of loose screws everywhere... I had sandles on and so did my fiancé but it's a bar... next to a beach what if someone came in barefoot?
And the guy outside of the gate as we were walking out back towards the beach area was all where you going? I said back to our resort at the beach and he opened the gate an said good... so.. again unsure if it wasn't allowed I know some resorts can be stingy.. but sheesh were not going to hang out we just wanted a good meal.. which Is unfortunate because the workers were probably bored and the resort could possibly make so much more money if they allowed outside customers..
But all and all I would recommend a try.. again would have been a better raiting but due to the circumstances I am keeping it at a 3 star.. would have been lower but the staff in the restaurant were kind.. let me know if you end up getting in from an outside resort! I'd like to see if you had to be a member there or...
Read moreI was in Puerto Peñasco for a week, and went to Arena 3C at least for 6 meals. Great location, taking care of their customers by providing hand sanitizer and measuring temperature at the entrance; the food is superb! my very favorite was the "Chicharrones de Atun" (thick ahi tuna, breaded) served with a chipotle aioli. Drinks are works of art; Oswaldo, the mixologist will take care of you for sure. They have their own Mezcal flavors. We tried the Mango, OREO (yes, Oreo mezcal), marzipan and my favorite, passion fruit with hibiscus (or jamaica). On Valentine's they had a special drink made with rum and berries, served with flowers. The service is beyond excellent, and the place is super clean. Absolutely fantastic experience every time I went there. Please try...
Read moreI used to love Arena 3C, but this new location is nowhere near as good as the old one. The old location had a stage for live music and it seemed like a band was playing every weekend when I went there. The new location doesn’t have a stage, so I don’t know if they’ll ever have bands playing there again. The old location was family friendly - there were some games out and a playground for kids. People under 18 can’t even enter the new location because it’s in the casino. The drink menu has been changed too.
I’m really disappointed by the move to the new location. The entire atmosphere of the restaurant has changed. I don’t know if I’m still going to come here when I’m in town, which is sad because it used to be one of my favorite...
