I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Playa Bonita Resort, and I must say it was a truly remarkable experience. From the moment I stepped into the resort, I was captivated by its pristine surroundings and the hospitality of the staff. The resort's commitment to cleanliness and maintenance truly sets it apart, making it an ideal destination for those seeking a tranquil and rejuvenating getaway. what truly stole my heart was the exceptional view offered by Playa Bonita Resort. Located in a picturesque coastal setting, the resort boasts breathtaking vistas of the shimmering waters and the pristine sandy beach. Each room is designed to maximize these views, with large windows and private balconies that allow guests to bask in the beauty of nature from the comfort of their own space. The sight of the sun setting over the ocean was a truly magical experience that I will cherish forever. The resort's prime location further enhances its appeal. Situated in close proximity to various local attractions, it provides easy access to a plethora of activities. Whether you're interested in water sports, exploring the nearby town, or simply lounging on the beach, Playa Bonita Resort offers the perfect base for your adventures. The staff is always ready to offer recommendations and assistance, ensuring that you make the most of your stay. In conclusion, I highly recommend Playa Bonita Resort to anyone seeking a luxurious and rejuvenating retreat. The clean and well-maintained rooms, coupled with the exceptional view and prime location, create an unforgettable experience. Whether you're a solo traveler, a couple, or a family, this resort offers the perfect balance of tranquility, comfort, and adventure.

1st of all the restaurant attached to play a Bonita. Known as playa Bonita restaurant the food horrible service good drinks water down big time the refried beans didn't even taste like beans and the servings are teaspoon size beans and a tablespoon of rice. As for the food itself no flavor whatsoever we also ordered half dozen of oysters on a 1/2 shell when they put them on the table the whole table smelt so fishy !! Needless to say we didn't eat them they took them back they asked why I said cause they smelt real fishy which means they're old. No argument there they're refunded my money for those Fishy smelly oysters !! Definitely not recommending the restaurant that's attached to the resort !! As for the resort we had a ocean view room, No complaints there but by the pool 8 o'clock in the morning they're blurring music at the pool construction going on above our heads so,no naps no sleeping in the morning !!! For 250 bucks a night I would expect more the furniture in the rooms looks like something from a thrift store !!!! If you think I'm exaggerating you're welcome to stay at playa Bonita rocky point To see for yourself !!!! This is not the 1st time we stayed here it's gone down it was never like this when we stayed here.....

Reserved an ocean view with balcony and was NOT disappointed 👍. This resort is somewhat humble compared to the competition up the beach but regardless very enjoyable. I would describe it as more of a family style resort, not ideal for honeymooners or those wanting the most luxury. Nice pool/hot tub area with easy stair access to the beach. A sand rinse off shower is available. Everything was very clean. The nearby restaurant had excellent dinner entrees but I would skip the breakfast and lunch buffets. This resort was also closer to downtown than others which is a plus. Staff were very pleasant and the front desk was English fluent. Lots of nationals and US visitors. I would avoid "pool view" rooms if noise sensitive. A/C worked well and blackout window shades were new looking and very effective.

Went with my dad for Father’s Day weekend. It was our first time in Puerto Peñasco and he booked this hotel based off price he said. The grounds have free parking, your vehicle feels safe because there are security monitoring the area even before you enter the parking lot. Like others have said - yes there is a lot of security but if you aren’t doing anything like smoking or bringing glass to the pool, there is no issue. They don’t harass you at all. Yes they are around but it’s better to be able to flag someone down if there were an issue than not be able to find someone. Front staff are friendly.||The restaurant on the property is very nice, the octopus was great and the food isn’t overpriced for the nice view. Live music band (called FRIDA) who covers popular American bands (Tom Petty, Guns n Roses etc) on Friday and Saturday nights. The restaurant was pretty packed for those evenings. ||They are strict about not losing the pool towels but again, it wasn’t an issue to keep track of your towel. The wristband is annoying but it didn’t fall off and it’s pretty water proof. You can’t remove it and put it back on so it’s stuck on you during your stay. ||The room was nice enough. Came with a good size room fridge and microwave. ||The pool area has a make shift pool bar. Their drinks are kind of pricey for the area ($10 for a cocktail). Okay so here is why I wouldn’t stay here again personally: the pools (there are 2, side by side) and jacuzzis (2 hot tubs side by side) were overrun with children. Everywhere. There is no adult pool or adult jacuzzi. I don’t mind kids but they outnumbered adults. If you don’t have kids I wouldn’t come here. It isn’t relaxing at all to layout or even try to use the jacuzzi because kids are jumping in and out of it. So again - if you’re traveling as adults only, pick a different hotel. If you have a ton of kids this is a great place for you to come on a budget. ||All in all I would this place is mediocre, not bad, but I just wouldn’t stay here again. Mostly because of the kids. Also I checked out other hotels on the strip area and there are nicer pools and hot tubs.||Also - we brought a kite and it was great weather for it....

Excellent beach. Plain clean rooms, good and large bath towels, including beach towels you checkout. Jacuzzi hot tub is always full of young children, a real fiendishly to this hotel and many in Mexico. Hotel has an ocean view and balcony for every room. Rooms are small but adequate and clean. 2 pools are always crowded with large families and screaming children morning until 10pm when it closes. It's loud. All the time. The large families spread out and its hard to find shaded spots unless you get out there by 10am or so. Even so, the adults will infringe on any space around you, play music loudly, and many are drinking themselves silly from ice chests. Don't expect it to be peaceful, it will be loud all day and night. The beautiful beach is right on front of you though, this is a prime location and a long walkable beach morning to night. The beach is the attraction. If you're a family v with young kids, the pools are,, tbe jacuzxis are a bonus babysitter. For the beach, bring some chairs, shade umbrellas, and frozen bottles of water to enjoy the day out there. Staff here is pleasant and good at their jobs. Coffee is provided in the lobby, included. Its safe,, security is onsite. Parking is easy and free. Onsite restaurant has great selection of food and drinks and is quite good, including happy hour. Free wifi is ok,, is not secure though. No extra room fees, just the price you see. Book at their site or phone in. This hotel has good beachfront pricing, and while Is prefer a condo, the markup in those rentals are extraordinary with fee and tax add-ons. not included in listed price. Covid practices...
