WORST WORST WORST PLACE EVER! Do not come here if you want to have you’re whole trip ruined. This place has horrible customer service people that cannot even do one thing for their customer. We were on our way to rocky point for my birthday trip from ARIZONA when las Paloma’s resort owner of the condo MIKE CLAYTON called to let us know they “accidentally” DOUBLE BOOKED our condo. We paid IN FULL for this place a MONTH prior to us going. The day of check in they want to call and tell us they accidentally booked it to someone else that same day ?! We were devastated thinking las Paloma’s was such a great place to stay and that this would never happen but it did. We’ve stayed at other places in rocky point and it’s ALWAYS been great, this is what we get for trying to go with something more “nice” I rather stay at a run down hotel a million times more than to book here again. We didn’t get anything from them just “I’m sorry we cannot kick out these other people that rented it today”. We spoke to everyone managers and higher ups about the situation and no one would help us. Easter weekend is a very busy weekend and we obviously could not rent elsewhere. We spent so much time and money to plan this trip for them to just ruin it this way and not even trying to help us w another room they kept saying they didn’t have anything else but of course they did, it was just More expensive so they didn’t want to lose out on that money. This is the most HORRIBLE experience I’ve ever had to go through I will never book with them again. We rented on VRBO just be careful when you rent from this owner MIKE CLAYTON he has 3 more condos here he said he’d send us a couple hundred for the inconvenience and the gas we spent we said ok but obviously he never sent anything. He just stopped responding to our texts/calls. I would hate for ANYONE to go through what we went through. Just writing this review to let everyone know to think twice about renting here. Read moreJust visited Las Palomas resort with my family a few days ago. I've been to Mexico on vacation 3 times in the past and I've had great experiences. This one was completely different. The staff was extremely rude, unprofessional and lied to our face several times.
The rooms was clean and hospitable. The building as a while was cleaned regularly and kept in good shape. There was a few repairs going on and many things broken or falling apart but that is something I would consider normal.
We got chased away when trying to take pictures. We were told "no pictures at all." Which is ridiculous considering it's completely normal to take pictures when on vacation.
We had trouble getting towels. Apparently our bracelets are enough, we needed photo ID, hotel registration and all memebers of our group present with their information to be able to get some towels?!?
They charged us $20 for checking out 5 minutes late. $122 because we brought an extra person.
All that would have been okay had the staff been kind and courteous. They were extremely rude, treated us like idiotic Americans and tried at every opportunity to make our stay difficult. I will never be going here again and I will make sure none of my family or friends do either. Thanks Las Palomas for showing me what a bad vacation...
Read moreFirst time staying at this resort and am extremely disappointed. We checked into our room only to find out it had not been cleaned prior. My kids were laying on sheets that had not been changed. Had to call for fresh towels everyday and it took sometimes 2 hours for them to bring them. Room was dirty socks black after walking around. Oven didn't work correctly, wifi didn't work. Housekeeping did nothing!! We couldn't even get a new trash bag we had garbage overflowing. Room service took forever had to call 3 plus times to get our food. Last day they called and asked if we needed help with bags and we said yes. No one ever showed up to help. We lugged coolers, suitcases, beach chairs down 7 floors. Extremely disappointed and it's sad the owners of these condos think their places are being taken care of! Wanted to come here for the fun looking pool and slide for the kids but absolutely...
