We travel to Mexico City for medical reasons, looking for a hotel close to the clinic we visit, this was our closest option and we have a pleasent surprise, staff was super nice all the time, very quick check in and check out, nice view from our room, everything very clean and with great safe measures, we only visit the restaurant once for breakfast, it was very good, prices are hotel prices, so we understand that, the internet was perfect 95% of the time, the rooms have safe box with a good size, any way we left computer and I pad in the desk and stay there, no problem, the hotel is located in the Sentura mall but more than half of the stores are closed, the food court only have two choices open, tortas and salads, there is a Starbucks, Mc Donald's and a few other restaurants there, direct access to the mall is great and mundo E is only 20 minutes walking distance.||We stayed there for 4 nights (actually we spent one of those nights in the clinic) and everything was great, my wife have some work to do, she went to the business center and she said it was great, we saw the gym it was nice with many choices, but the best part was that everybody was very nice and polite, the beds are really comfortable, the tv in the room is huge and is very good if you need to rest.||If you are going to visit the city is actually away from down town but if you need to do thing by the north part of the city this is a very good choice, it was a good value from our points, definitely will stay there...
Read moreFirst time visiting an office location nearby, this hotel was recommended by the people in my company's office. Touted as a new hotel next to the mall, I had to wonder if it was really as good as they were saying it was, especially for the price of under $100USD per night. Well, they were right and more...this hotel is brand new but doesn't exhibit the problems you see from a new business or location. The lobby is on the street level adjacent to the ground level of the mall but rooms are separated by two elevators keeping the room areas secure. The staff was very accommodating (especially Alfredo) and spoke better English than I speak Spanish. My room was amazing for the price! Shower had a rain head and a teak (or some other water resistant wood) stool and all the water is labeled as being sanitary and safe for drinking. Food and beverage options at the hotel were good and I felt like I was being served at a 5-star restaurant for anything I ordered. There is a mall next door with many food options including fast food, sit-down restaurants, an Irish themed bar, a movie theater and a Go-Kart venue. There is a bank with an ATM (Santander I think) and there is a Starbucks right inside the mall entrance as well which provides some good start of the day options for a little cheaper than the hotel. All in all, great hotel in an up and coming location which will get my business every time I visit my company's office...
Read morePlease stay away from this hotel. There are plenty of options in Mexico City.|Ordered a burger well done for room service. A burger, not a full steak, something easy to cook. The burger was raw in some places and the meat did not look fresh at all.|The waiter cane up and demanded payment on the spot. I thought to myself, this is strange. In normal hotels a bill is created and then paid during check out. |Also had my jeans and shirt washed. Silly me, why did I think this was going to be a painless existence? I arrived from work and at 8:30PM got a call from the front desk asking me to come down to the front desk to pay! What???? I said I expected to see my clothes hanging in my closet with a receipt like in any normal hotel. Not here. A front desk person came up with a portable card reader, holding my clothes for ransom. Where am I? What is this place? What kind of people does this place usually host that they need to do that?|To add insult to injury the temperature controls do not work. The air conditioner is on, it is the winter season in Mexico and although it is not as cold here as in my country, we don’t turn the air conditioner when the temperature outside is 50F. Turn it off 50 times and 50 times it turns itself on again. I thought about calling maintenance. Nope, I will not give them another reason to show me how incompetent they are. Will suffer thru it. Counting the minutes until...
