Arrived at the hotel Monday at around 2AM and checked in promptly quick however when I asked about breakfast the receptionist let me know that I would have to pay since it’s not included. I let him know that it is INCLUDED based on how I booked the room through THIER website. I had all the papers to prove it as well. He made a copy of my paper and said to come back in the morning when someone else is there which I thought was weird but I said ok. Early next morning I went to the receptionist (a different one) and he wouldn’t even hear me out when I was explaining to him that i booked my room WITH breakfast included. But he wasn’t listening and I didn’t feel like arguing . So the remaining days I had to pay for breakfast.

Breakfast is about as bland and simple as it gets. I really wouldn’t call it a buffet as there’s not that many items and there’s flies all around the food. Coffee/espresso comes out of a self service machine with a press of a button. They have a omelette station too however no one is ever there to make the omelette. Extremely disappointing.

After breakfast we were headed back to our room and the elevator completely shut down on us. We were stuck in the elevator for about 20 minutes , the alarm in the elevator is not working but thank goodness I had my phone so I managed to call the hotel and they took about 10 minutes to send someone to rectify there issue. Horrible experience.

The day before we left we went for lunch downstairs and there was no one downstairs to be found and then finally after a couple of minutes I found the waiter and I had to ask if they were open. He said yes and immediately let me know that I can only pay cash since there credit card machine is broken which I thought was totally untrue but whatever. Basically taking advantage at this point. We had come for dinner the past couple of nights so we already knew what we wanted but the waiter took about 10 minutes to come back to the table to take our orders. Not sure what he was busy doing. Anyways, we asked for 1 mojito and that got completely shut down as he said he ran out. So now I’m just really tempted to leave. But I stick with it and just ask for juice instead and order our lunch. Once lunch is done , I go to pay and the total was 180 dirhams and I gave him a 200 dirham bill and he said I don’t have change. How do you not have change ???? If you’re not accepting credit card and you don’t have change then what kind of cafe are you? I just said whatever and told him to keep it and left.

I was also charged 400 dirham when I tried scheduling a taxi through the hotel. 400 is definitely unacceptable but I didn’t have no choice as it was 3AM and I didn’t want to go walking around the street hauling taxis.

Overall I would rate this place a 2/5. Room was cleaned daily I believe and towels were always stocked besides one day where I had to go find my own towels cause there was 0 left in the bathroom. Pillows in bedroom are rock hard. Staff was dissapointing. Food was dissapointing as well. I guess that’s what comes with the price . But this place is definitely not 4 stars. I wouldn’t recommend this place nor would...

I recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. I booked a suite, but the room was anything but luxurious. Here are the issues I encountered: Smelly Room: Upon entering the room, I was hit by an unpleasant odor. It was evident that the room hadn’t been properly aired out or cleaned. Missing Amenities: There were no towels in the bathroom, and I had to make three separate calls to request them. Waiting for towels after a long journey is not what I expected. Room Change: Due to the smell and lack of towels, I requested a room change. I appreciate that you accommodated this, but it was inconvenient to have to move late at night. Housekeeping Delay: The next day, I moved to a different room, hoping for a better experience. However, housekeeping never showed up until the evening. I had to endure a messy room throughout the day. Suite Downgrade: Despite paying for a suite, I ended up in a smaller room. This was disappointing, especially considering the inconvenience I had already faced. Lack of Compensation: To add to my disappointment, there was no compensation offered for the inconveniences I encountered during my stay.

I believe in giving honest feedback, and I hope you take this as an opportunity to improve. Cleanliness and prompt service are essential for any hotel, and unfortunately, my experience fell short in both areas.

❌Not going to Recommend this hotel to Anyone. DO NOT STAY in this hotel!! ❌

Update: Reached out to management 4 times still no response for the compensation. what a terrible way to treat the people who are spending this much money and getting zero responses from management. WHY DID YOU CHANGED THE REPLY JUST BECAUSE OTHER GUY OFFERED ME COMPENSATION. I need someone to reply my email and...

AVOID This is supposed to be a four star hotel and it is more like a three star hotel. Giving it two stars because the front desk literally helped the taxi drivers scam us. The placement of the hotel is great, right near the mosque and the ocean. However the rooms are not 4 star rooms. I agree with the other poster saying there was a weird smell. Everything seems old. TV is tiny. The shower absolutely sucks, terrible water pressure and positioned in a way that is unpleasant to use. You can hear every little thing from your neighbors and there was this weird nonstop squeaking noise like coming from the pipes or something? The air conditioner was good though. This is the only place we stayed in Morocco (just had a long layover), so maybe this is 4 star for this country. But we stayed in 4 star hotels in Tunisia that were much nicer than this. The worst part is that when we asked for a cab at the front desk because we needed to get back to the airport, the woman told us it was a fixed price of 350 dinar. We said yes just because we were running late, but other guests hailed their own taxis to try for a better price. When we got into the taxi, the driver asked us what we paid. Extremely shady. You can find anywhere online or at the cab station at the airport that the fixed rate from the airport to this neighborhood is 200-300. We paid 309 to get from the airport to hotel, which even that we knew was high. Why would the hotel participate in the taxi’s scheme in this city to charge foreigners extra? They should be HELPING you navigate this as a foreigner, not helping the taxi guys scheme you. Would not recommend. All in all it was fine for the one night we stayed, but certainly not ideal. If you are a foreigner and have the money, just go with a...

Would not stay here again. When we tried to call the hotel to figure out the parking, the person who had answered our call provided no information and disconnected the call. One of us had to get out of the car and walk in to the reception to get help. When we got to our room, we noticed that there were no towels in the room which was strange. When we notified this to the reception, we were informed that the towels would be sent to our room. Fifteen minutes later and no towels had arrived. We tried to call the reception again to get an update but nobody answered so we had to go downstairs to the reception. When the towels had finally arrived, we noticed that the shower cubicle would not close properly (picture attached) and the floor would always get wet during a shower. With regard to the sound-proofing of the rooms, the quality is extremely poor. We were woken up twice in the middle of the night because of other guests talking in the corridor. We hoped that the breakfast would be a bright spot but the spread selection was poor and unappealing. I saw a couple of guests use their forks to pick up food from the buffet spread which is extremely poor hygiene. The only aspect worth mentioning about the breakfast experience was Ramzi who took our egg orders and made sure that we got them. I would not stay here again nor would I recommend it to anyone. I noticed that the hotel replies back to reviews asking about the date of the stay and the room number. We stayed for one-night with check-in on the 6th of April 2024 and were in room 214.

A bit run down, but clean, spacious and right next to the mosque. Room was equipped with a kettle and some cooking facilities which I didn't see again for the rest of my trip in Morocco. The rooms are big and clean enough, but could use a lick of paint. My room was missing towels and a bath mat, they brought towels after asking but not the bath mat so the shower (whose door didn't shut properly anyway) was a bit messy. The breakfast was nice and varied with eggs made order and a range of cereals and pastries. Not the best but certainly not the worst. Worth mentioning is their huge co working space downstairs, which has loads of meeting rooms and places to plug in. I wonder if there are conferences here once in a while and if it gets a bit busier? In this area there's also a foosball table and big area to chill in. Lots of water dispensers for filling up water. The staff was nice and obliging, some willing to help more than others. I called ahead to enquire about an airport transfer and they told me they didn't offer it, but the day I was flying I got a text from someone affiliated with the hotel offering on, perhaps some wires crossed. Overall not amazing, but factoring in what I paid (around 45 GBP) with the location, facilities (there's also a small gym by the way) and size of the rooms made it a fair deal in my book. A couple of ATMs nearby too.

Melliber Appart Hotel is a bit of a hidden secret that you need to look for. The hotel is ideal access to the grand mosque and the beautiful ocean promenade! I highly recommend getting a room facing the mosque as the view and the prayers calls are so moving and magical to experience from your balcony!!! The hotel is very well kept! We had a couple of small issues but Osama and his team took very good care of us, always with prompt service and friendliness! Special thank you to Siuffien, Rachid, and Abdul Latif! Most of all Hicham at the front desk, polite, very approachable, and a cute sense of humour. The breakfast was very pleasant. If you are looking for a typical North American morning buffet, be prepared… Moroccans eat healthy and light! All over Morocco, food is readily available, hence why you see the world “snack” mentioned on store fronts and menus. Lunch is the main meal and the other meals are considered lighter meals. It was a pleasure to meet the hotel manager Noel, she provides a welcoming smile and majestic an honest effort to check in on everyone! Our taxi to the airport was at 4 o’clock in the morning, so we apologize for not being able to say good bye to everyone especially the room hospitality staff! Thank you dear friends at Melliber Appart Hotel!
