Avoid this place. You’ll thank me later. Absolutely Disappointing Experience I recently stayed at Flamant Rose Apartments in Tangier, and I must say it was one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve had at a hotel. Despite the generally positive reviews online, my personal experience was far from satisfactory. From the moment I arrived, I felt unwelcome. The front desk staff were dismissive and unhelpful, making the check-in process unnecessarily difficult. Any questions I had were met with curt responses, and I was made to feel like a burden rather than a valued guest.
There’s no carpet, so the place feels cold, echoey, and just lifeless. Every step you take sounds loud, and the room had a strange, musty smell that never went away. It was disgusting and made the space feel dirty, no matter how clean it looked. The bathroom was a disaster. There was a leak coming from the faucet and I had to put towels down to avoid slipping. The smell in there was even worse like mildew and sewage mixed together. It was honestly hard to even shower comfortably. This place looks decent in pictures, but don’t be fooled. The energy was off, the staff couldn’t care less, and the conditions were unacceptable. I couldn’t wait to leave. Throughout my stay, the staff continued to be inattentive and unaccommodating. Requests for basic amenities were ignored, and any attempt to seek assistance was met with indifference. It was evident that guest satisfaction was not a priority for the management. I would not recommend Flamant Rose Apartments to anyone seeking a comfortable and hospitable stay in Tangier. There are plenty of other accommodations in the area that prioritize guest experience and provide the warmth and comfort that this establishment...

Fantastic place Great service Well equipped room Clean Good location
From the moment we entered the hotel until we left we had only a positive experience. Very helpful and attentive staff at the Reception, discreet cleaning team leaving room nice and clean.
We stayed as a family of 4, had an apartment on the 7th floor with bathroom, double bedroom, open plan living room with 2 sofa beds. Children sleep on the sofas and their feedback was very positive, comfortable to sleep.
Good view. It's close to the main road so can be bit noist but that's expected from the city hotel, just keep the windows closed.
Good walking distance to the beach 15-20 min Close to the shopping mall, restaurants, medical centres, old city.
We paid for the breakfast at their restaurant and that was a good decision as who wants to go out to have morning meal outside. We expected a traditional buffet but we were pleasantly surprised. We had a choice of 9-10 options, ready set meals to choose from. It was really beautiful and delicious, freshly made , nice pastries, fresh juice, good variety to suit everyone's needs. There was also an option to order from the menu card
We tried: Continental Dutch Moroccan Spanish Breakfast for 2
My favourite was breakfast for 2, it had great variety: 2 french toast with Nutella Omelette 2 sandwiches (1 salmon 1 courgette) Selection of french pastries And traditional Marocain breakfast "breads" 2 pots of yogurt with musli Choice of hot drinks
We had to leave early morning to the airport and we asked if we can have something for breakfast to take with us as the kitchen would be closed then, restaurant sent us a night earlier 2...
Read moreWell, the staff needs more training on how to check in persons, they had trouble getting me checked in. Couldn't charge my card so I had to use another card. That was a bit inconvenient as I preferred the first card. The room was fine, spacious, but the hair dryer was cheap and barely usable. Was uncomfortable to hold button in constantly and weak air flow...better to bring your own. Bed was good. Breakfast staff were not friendly. Breakfast is very limited and it was not good quality. Even tea (water) tasted bad. Only pne small glass of juice? Had to ask for coffee because tea was undrinkable, and she said she had to charge me extra!? So, that was a bad way to start my day. I must have showed my disappointment in my face because I was just disappointed in such bad breakfast. Minutes later, she brought my coffee but told me it was free. Compared to most hotels around the world, this was the cheapest and most "ungenerous" breakfast. You could choose one thing ...not a combination.., so I had a small, muffin with a bit of egg and salmon (Norviega breakfast) and no fresh fruit, no yogurt, no refill on coffee. Pfff..left hungry.
Wanted to have tea but no tea in room. I gave feedback via Booking and manager wrote that they would replace the hair dyers..I wonder? Will they?
Good luck at...
