The main post office in Tangier, Morocco is on Avenue Mohammed V, and in French it is called "La Grand Poste".

All I can say is that this large main post office has been remodeled on the exterior to make it look cleaner and more attractive. I have waited in lines on the inside and found that it needs a help desk with someone knowledgeable who speaks good English, Spanish and French, as well as Arabic.

This post office is now much better after it was renovated. I have befriended my local mail man so that he personally delivers letters and packages from abroad directly to my front door.

Several decades ago, if you received a package from abroad, you had to physically go to the post office, and they would open up your package in front of you to inspect the contents to determine if you could have it and that was not contraband. Sometimes you had to pay a little money to retrieve your packages. I don't think this is done any more. Mauvais service...vraiment on disant que ces opérateurs sont des volontaires mais pas ont un salaire à la fin du chaque mois et un travail à faire... Ils n'ont pas l'envie de traiter les clients d'entendre les clients et de plus n'ont pas de réponse dans ce cas là à qui je dois m'adresser pour avoir de réponses ...Si je veux réclamer je dois attendre ce responsable pour 1h30 à 2h croyez-moi alors que c'est déjà son temps de travail pas un repos... Tout ça pour travailler juste la dernière heure et partir chez lui. Mauvaise expérience mauvais traitement de client, jamais je vais la répéter...
