Title: Breathtaking Views and Excellent Service, But Beware of Pricing
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Barcelo Tanger, and I must say that the experience was a mixed bag. While the hotel boasts breathtaking views and excellent service, there is a notable downside to be aware of: the pricing.
Let's start with the positives. The view from the Barcelo Tanger is truly mesmerizing. Whether you're staying in one of the rooms or enjoying a meal at the restaurant, you'll be treated to panoramic vistas that overlook the city and the shimmering Mediterranean Sea. It's the kind of view that leaves you in awe and makes you appreciate the beauty of Tanger even more.
Moreover, the service at the Barcelo Tanger is top-notch. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure your comfort and satisfaction. From the moment you step foot into the hotel, you're greeted with warm smiles and a genuine desire to make your stay memorable. The professionalism and efficiency of the staff truly enhance the overall experience.
However, one aspect that dampened my enthusiasm was the pricing. Compared to other places nearby, the prices at Barcelo Tanger are noticeably higher. While the quality of the accommodations and the service justifies a certain premium, it is difficult to overlook the significant difference in cost when similar alternatives are available in the vicinity.
That being said, if budget is not a primary concern for you, the Barcelo Tanger is still worth considering. The stunning views and exceptional service can create lasting memories that are hard to replicate elsewhere. Additionally, the hotel offers a range of amenities and facilities that cater to various preferences, including a spa, fitness center, and multiple dining options.
In conclusion, the Barcelo Tanger provides an incredible experience with its awe-inspiring views and impeccable service. However, potential guests should be aware that the pricing might be higher compared to other accommodations in the area. If you're willing to splurge for an unforgettable stay and appreciate the finer things in life, then Barcelo Tanger is an excellent choice. But if you're on a tighter budget, it might be worth exploring alternative...
Read moreThe hotel was recently renovated and thus, everything is brand new and shiny. It is very pleasant. We used the pick-up service. The driver was easy to find, he was holding a piece of paper with the hotel's name. The car was very clean and the drive was likeable. The check-in process was smooth and quick, the clerk gave us all the useful informations. Very polite and friendly. The room was on the 7th floor and had a stunning view oceanside. It has a small balcony where you can enjoy the view and the sea breeze. The room was clean and thoroughly prepared. The bed is extremely comfortable and large, the sheets are of a good quality and smelled good, as well as the towels. There were no bathrobe, but we didn't ask for it. The slippers were also comfy and soft. Regarding the amenities and in room products, everything was on point. We visited the rooftop bar. The waiters were really friendly and well-intentioned. The DJ was playing some nice music and the view was stunning. Regarding the breakfast, everything was perfect. Great atmosphere, staff always smiling and helping out, the buffet looks perfect and it is often restocked. The products are fresh and of a good quality. The sports bar is also neat. The bartender super friendly and the atmosphere fairly enjoyable. The prices there are really affordable and the service topnotch. It makes it a great value for money. We didn't use the Spa but we went there for informations. The lady took the time to go over the different options and treatments, sadly we didn't have time to squeeze a massage, but she really was a good seller. Overall we had a great weekend. The price to quality ratio for the room and breakfast is outstanding. The localisation is great. The infrastructure are brand new and well maintained. Would clearly go back and recommend for a couple or family trip. Everyone was really nice and motivated to create a...
Read moreBarcelo Tanger is a modern hotel on the bay's main avenue. It is located on a six-lane road that runs east-west through the city. More on this later. The hotel has a commanding view of the beach and a wonderful dining area. The breakfast buffet is terrific, and the rooms are clean and reasonably well-appointed.||The three-star review is because Barcelo has glaring problems that significantly affect the experience. The first is that it is on a noisy main thoroughfare. During our two-day stay, motorists sped up and down the avenue all night until dawn, honking their horns and revving their motorcycles. We were informed this is customary as a means of celebrating weddings. It happened both nights. We were on the third floor, and even with earplugs and a white noise machine, our sleep was frequently interrupted. In addition, on the first night, we were treated to a barrage of fireworks twice during the night.|| If you are a light or medium sleeper you should consider somewhere else. ||In addition, the bidet hose with which the toilet is equipped leaked and flooded the bathroom. It seemed to get worse on the second day. The automatic light in the bathroom stayed on all night the first night and would not turn off. It was broken the second night and would not turn on.||Finally, I specifically inquired of the Maitre D'hotel about catching our seven o'clock train early on the third day. I asked for a boxed breakfast to go and was told the dining room opened at six o'clock and not to worry. We stood outside the dining room at the appointed time, and after ten minutes of waiting, I entered, only to be told the dining room didn't open until 6:30. We were grudgingly served breakfast in an empty dining room and barely made our train.||If Barcelo addressed these kinds of problems, it would certainly be worth a higher rating. As it is, it feels like a place that...
