Well situated, you are not really in any specific area but yet close to all the tourist attractions. Myriad residence are small apartments with a full bed or a full bed and a couch depending on your accommodation.
The rooms offer a kitchen but they are I’ll equipped, it’s a hit or miss, you may have plates and spoons but no pots or glasses and vice versa. Didn’t quite get why offer a kitchen if they are so incomplete, I would expect that all kitchens/ units would have a standard set of utensils and so on.
The rooms are relatively updated, our initial room was on the second floor and the Wi-Fi was just simply terrible. We were getting around 0.25Mbps Down/0.1 Up. Yep those are real speeds. The room had stained carpets but linen and bathroom were fresh and clean.
We talked to the front desk next day and they took us to several rooms to find the room with the best Wi-Fi reception. Five stars to the team, they are direct and offer outstanding service.
The room we took on the 6th floor was much better, perhaps less used than the rooms with two beds. The carpet looked clean and did not have stains. The facilities are about the same regardless of the room.
On a nutshell, our only issues were: Showers are like warm and there is absolutely no water pressure. Carpets could be cleaned more frequently Kitchen needs consistent and standardized utensils sets Wi-Fi could be a hit or miss depending on where you are
The pros: central to most things. The Casa Port is a 20min walk, the Marina mall is an 8min taxi ride, and around the area there are many restaurants and grocery stores. staff is outstanding safe area! Many luxury...
Read moreI stayed at Kyriad Residence Casablanca Centre Ville and while the location is undeniably convenient, my experience was overshadowed by several frustrating shortcomings:||Doors slam shut: The room doors don’t fit their frames properly - so they swing shut forcefully and loudly. This made for sleepless nights when other guests came or went.||Fridge didn’t cool: The minibar was essentially useless - everything stayed at room temperature despite attempts to adjust it.||Housekeeping lapses: Cleaners never replenished towels or bottled water in my room, even though I expected those basics to be refreshed daily.||Broken fixtures: The lamp flickered and towel hooks were damaged - suggesting a lack of maintenance.||Incompatible plugs: The electrical outlets didn’t work with standard converters, making it difficult to charge electronic devices.||On top of these issues, I also encountered a problem with the booking process. I had mistakenly reserved a non-cancellable night for August 30 instead of my intended date, August 16. When I arrived on August 16, I realized the error, explained it to the front desk, and rebooked for that night - staying and paying in good faith. Despite this, management refused to provide any reimbursement or credit for the unused August 30 reservation, leaving me effectively charged twice.||For a hotel positioning itself as a convenient and comfortable option, I found both the physical shortcomings and the lack of flexibility around a genuine booking mistake disappointing. I hope management takes these concerns seriously, as the property’s location deserves better support from its facilities...
Read moreI’ve stayed in this lovely apartment / hotel for six nights. It’s located in Roche Noir, which is part of city centre (Centre Ville), walking distance to the main train station (Casa Voyageurs).||I stayed in a decent size studio apartment, which was equipped with kitchenette. Offering a view of the port.|Very comfortable bed and pillow. Very clean, spotless / immaculate in fact when it comes to cleanliness. ||The staff have been very friendly and attentive. The reception staff were always there with a smile and genuinely willing to help with any queries you have. In the evening these are security guards standing at the entrance. All staff members are very kind and helpful.||The housekeeping staff stand out as far as I’m concerned: I’ve met Amina and Hicham. Amina is very friendly, attentive and has strong eye for details. ||The property is part of Campanile, I believe French hotel group. Adjacent to it there is a hotel which houses a pleasant bar. Ideal place to spend an hour or two after touring around in Casablanca. The bar offers a wide range of drinks and bar-food. The staff there are equally very friendly and professional. I’ve had the pleasure meeting Mohammed and Hatim, who have been looking after me.||All in all a very pleasant place to stay if you’re in Casa....
