It is located in the middle of old capital Sale. Owned by privately. You shouldn't expect a chain hotel style. Riad is kind of explanations, I guess, for the hotels, converted in to hotel from old houses. When you reach the hotel -not easy to find by navigation- you will have personal attention of owner Ms Avva. Room are clean and antique style decorated. You have a free wifi. There is no specific time for meals just ask form Ms Avva when and what you would like to eat. There is a nice kitchen to have meals at ground floor and a tent at roof not with a view but with a nice atmosphere. Yo wouldn't feel that you are in a hotel, as if you are guest at a house. There are some point of interests at the area you can visit by walking easily and downtown is 10-15 minutes by car. You can/should ask/inform Ms Avva but anyway before you would ask she should have...
Read moreUnfortunately we didn't have a very good experience here, first I will say that the Riad is nice although a little musky. But the service was really unprofessional. The woman working there/ the owner (?) came to the door several times in just the 14 hours we were there. Most notably in the morning starting and 9am where she started knocking and we went to check and no one was there. Then again every half hour, once I missed because in the shower. Saying that she needed to clean the room to leave... check out at hotels and riads is usually noon and we were essentially rushed out by 10:30. We had prepaid the night before, given passports and everything needed so there really was no reason. There is lots of other nice Riad's in the area that are more professional and let you actually be on your vacation. I suggest...
Read moreWe organised our reservation using a popular lodging platform but did not officially reserve with the platform like we usually do because the riad wanted us to pay cash. The riad is in the medina, a little hard to navigate by car but easy to find. It is beautiful, clean and the personnel were helpful. However, we had a price arrangment for 5 persons before we arrived and had to renegociate everything, to finally beeing able to keep the same price (family of 5 travelling around the world for a year = tight budget). However, the free breakfast was not available (it was Ramadan but we had breakfast in other accomodotions in Morocco during Ramadan) and the free parking was not free anymore when it was time to leave. My advice, make sure that you clarify what is included and what is not prior to...
