We stayed here for a night, en route from Merzouga back to Marrakech. The hotel was fine for our purposes, though it could improve in three areas:||||- the rooms were hotter than they needed to be - we had to open the window to get a comfortable night's sleep||||- our room faced on to a rear courtyard where staff were coming and going throughout the night, banging a loud door||||- the service at breakfast was the worst aspect. It was supposed to be served from 7am: we arrived shortly after that without any obvious sign of preparations going on apart from a Julie Walters "two soups" style waiter pottering around doing not very much. When there was no sign of any food by 7.30 we gave up and went out to explore the local countryside - we ate a late breakfast of cakes and coffee at the patisserie a few doors up.||||On the plus side, the reception staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel is very centrally placed in Ifrane, has on-site car parking, and a colony of Lesser Kestrels nesting on the roof. The hotel was also inexpensive - they had a promotion on which saved us about £20 compared to the price on the web. ||||Also, beware of the "official town guide" who kept pestering us every time he saw us in the...

The hotel's location in the picturesque town of Ifrane is a definite highlight. Nestled amidst the Atlas Mountains, the surroundings were serene and beautiful, offering a peaceful escape from the city.
The staff at Hotel Chamonix were friendly and accommodating, making the check-in process smooth and providing assistance throughout my stay. The rooms were comfortable and clean, providing a cozy retreat after a day of exploring.
The on-site dining options offered a range of delicious Moroccan and international dishes, and the breakfast buffet was a satisfying start to the day.

In conclusion, Hotel Chamonix in Ifrane is a good choice for travelers seeking a comfortable and peaceful stay in a beautiful mountain setting. With a few updates and renovations, it has the potential to be an even more exceptional...
