Maison Olga - Ancienne Medina — Hotel in Meknes

We did not end up staying here, but this review is for their customer care.

We arrived in Meknes and asked where we could park our car. We had no idea where we were and Google maps was trying to take us down a street that had vendors on it. The owner came looking for us and we stayed at the car park close to where we agreed to meet. We sent our location and waited, but it was a very busy place and after calling several times, we decided to find another place to stay outside of the city.

Why I give 5 stars is that I requested a free cancellation for our booking, which they absolutely did not have to give us. Regardless of how accommodating they were trying to be and how much effort they had put in to try and help us, they still waived the cancellation fee of €20. Watch out The hostel is a scammer. I booked through booking and when I showed up in the hostel, the door was closed and no one opened the door, after waiting for one hour, I had a call from an unknown number telling me that accepting my reservation was an error and I had to cancel my reservation to get my money back. At the present time, I am lost between the hostel and the booking customer services. The result is that I lost myoney and I have been scammed by Olga Maison/Youth Hostel Medina. I had an amazing time! Carlo, Chaima and Fatima Zahra were really helpful. They gave me great breakfasts and I had even a home cooked lunch the day I came. The apartment is super clean, the bed really comfortable, it's super clean, and they provide you with everything you need. I really recommend this place, specially since it's in the historical section of Meknes, and next to the Souks and the medina. It's very safe and people are adorable. I will...
