One of the best things about this hotel is that it was easy to locate - not located down some winding alley in the medina, etc. And parking was not a problem, either: we were able to park right outside, in the main street! But that cannot be guaranteed!||||Reception was cheerful but disorderly. All complicated by the fact that for each room a key was allocated as well as a remote for the A/c unit, and one for the TV. We were allocated bedrooms on the top floor, so we had good views of the street, and the sea/ocean.||||The rooms were adequate - just. Rather faded, and in need of some TLC decoration. Bathroom was bizarre, but the shower worked, and the water was hot. ||||The hotel's restaurant - Restaurant Belle Vue - was located on the top floor - again good views of the street. sea, and the old medina.||||The breakfast was a served continental breakfast - fine.||||This hotel has some potential, and room for improvement. I suppose the concern is that it is located in Safi - or Asfi - and the trendy tourist or business trade does not visit there very often.................Not licensed; no bar - but there are two bars in establishments just near by. And there are one or two nearby...
Read moreVery friendly staff but mostly useless. The room is not good enough for longer stay. Staying long term is a proof of good nerves. Washing clothing suddenly just did not happen - without asking I would never had them done. Excuse that Machine broke down. Breakfast served officially at 7am. If they like they show up at 730 and still have to wait more than 20 minutes. Breakfast? I call it waste of time. Credit card system often not working. They ask then for cash - taken with the credit card! Cost of cash withdrawal notreibursed. At all: poor behaviour as all in Morocco. People staying in for just a night just don't have a clear view what happens here. Car parking: got towed even though officially allowed. Several nonsense non parking signs in front of the hotel and no Latin letter description. Illegal situation. They tow your car just because. Hotel management is useless in that case. Even though the parking space is clearly in front of the hotel. Morocco? Never again in my lifetime. Worst place to be....
Read moreHad to go to Safi with work a week ago. And going by the reviews of hotels, this seemed like the best option. The room was decent. However, stained sheets and a pretty poor bathroom ruined it. MAIN ISSUE WAS THE MAIDS HANDLING MY BELONGING AND THROWING ALL MY CLOTHES INTO MY SUITCASE WHICH WERE FOLDED EACH DAY!! Bedroom was comfortable and the noise from outside wasn't too bad at all. ||Breakfast was pretty basic; pastry, basket of bread, yogurt, juice and a coffee. But seems like they have 15 staff preparing it. ||||Main issue was the Wifi, as it states that each room has wifi but sadly the connections never seemed to work. So I had to sit in reception to write emails etc. ||||It really wouldn't take a lot to make this place a really good hotel to stay! Just making the service a bit sharper (like making sure maids replace the towels they remove them from rooms) and bathrooms are...
