A VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE
We arrived at 6:00 Pm -the opening time clearly displayed on the door.- We waited outside for around 20 min with no explanation from anyone. When the owner finally arrived, I was already speaking politely with a staff member who had just shown up and was stopping us at the door, pointing out that if the new opening time is 6:30 PM, the sign should be updated accordingly, and instead of addressing the situation respectfully, the owner interrupted with a dismissive tone, saying, “Alala, alala, we told you it’s at 6:30.” No such information had ever been communicated to me before. I calmly tried to explain that this was news to me, but he simply turned his back and walked away.. no apology, no accountability, not even a few seconds to listen.
This level of disrespect is unacceptable, especially toward a long-time regular customer who has consistently supported the business and brought countless friends from other cities and countries. I’m really shocked by the lack of professionalism, communication, and basic courtesy shown by the owner.

Read moreI arrived at 8:47 in the evening. A girl called zineb, The waitress. Came to attend us at 8:52. Me and my father ended up waiting one hour and 10 minutes for a lasagna and hamburger. Me and my father were hungry and fed up. Zineb Would come to us and say ‘ Your food would be ready in a few minutes’. After deciding to leave, She comes up to us And says ‘ Oh, I’m so sorry. Your order didn’t go through the system.’.. If my order didn’t go through the system, Why would you tell us? That’s our meal will be there in a few minutes? We were seated next to the kitchen. So it was hard to ignore Us. This is absolutely blood boiling. If you aren’t blonde, Blue eyed And non-Moroccan. She will not serve you. I saw her chitchat with the tourists and serve them hamburgers lasagna and Moroccan soup along with that three different types of mojitos. And she didn’t feel ashamed to come up to us and say ‘oh yeah, your order didn’t go through’ With the most bored and mono tone voice ever. So I repeat, Do not come here if you aren’t blonde, Blue eyed And a tourist. Otherwise You won’t get served and Will waste one hour and 10 minutes for no...
Read moreI had an amazing dining experience at Le Rooftop Restaurant in Safi! The ambiance is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the ocean that make the meal even more enjoyable. The rooftop setting provides a perfect atmosphere for a relaxing dinner, especially during sunset – truly a magical spot.
The food was incredible – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish I tried was a delightful blend of Moroccan spices and flavours. My friend who is vegetarian said it was the best vegetarian Tagines he's had in Morroco. The manager Mariyam was attentive, friendly, spoke impeccable English and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal.
I highly recommend Le Rooftop Restaurant to anyone visiting Safi. Definitely one of the best dining experiences I’ve...
