We booked a double and got two sleeping pads next to each other on the floor, no big deal. Our walls are paper thin, we can hear average tone speaking from our neighbors, they have a small child, boo. The pigeons on our tin roof are also very annoying. Thankfully we have ear plugs! Our bathroom has black mold on the ceiling and we also have a 'friend' gecko and a mosquito in our bathroom. The room smells like stale musty wood. The pool area is super nice, but the room is not what we expected, we didn't spend much time in it anyway. If you are looking for a clean pristine hotel, not recommended. However if you want a great environment to relax by the pool and the ability to jump on an ebike (available to rent for 8000kyat a day or 4000 for half day) and get anywhere within 10min. Stay here. The staff is INCREDIBLY friendly, and always at your service. The breakfast included is average hotel buffet, but once again it's one of the cheapest places to stay in Bagan.
