I was looking for the regular place to stay which is near to the Yangon General Hospital and the hotels in china town are in my lists then. I spend 30000 ks (around 20$) per night and had to move from one place to another as it was the holiday season especially Chinese New Year in China Town and so many tourists have fully booked most of the hotels. The first two night spending at different hotels which is literally like hostels (same owner) were great - the staffs are friendly and the service is good yet the very small rooms were not much comfort to us. Later on the 3rd day, I found out this same price motel which rooms are not so big but are the regular hotel alike, clean, super comfy, modernized and good breakfast (you can either choose myanmar tranditional breakfast like mohinnga or fried rice which is restaurant like deco and taste plus toast, bread, cake, seasonal fruits, coffee, tea, juice free flow). In addition to, the staffs are friendly. I get more than what I pay for here when I compare with other 2 places. So this place will be of my choice when I come to...
Read moreGreat located, in one quiet street on the edge of China Town, 5 - 10 minutes by car to Shwedagon Pagoda (the most famous landmark of Myanmar and Yangon) and near to Sule Pagoda. Hotel is surrounded by lots of restaurants, fast food outlets and in just a few steps you are in street food paradise with numerous food stalls. I'm sure you'll never go hungry from that area. Room is nice, comfortable, with good bed, bath products, flip flops, coffee/tea facilities, bottles of water and very good internet connection. All what travelers need is there. Breakfast is absolutely ok. ||But people who work there are simply amazing. Miss Su Su and her reception staffer very polite and good organized, with warm welcome, with lot of tips and suggestions they made my stay much better than I expected. They're very helpful and always tried to find better solution for me. It was really nice to see young but responsible people how enjoy to do their work. I will choose this hotel again for sure and I would highly recommend this house to...
Read moreThis hotel has a lot to offer and is great value for money. The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, good AC, and there is lots of storage space. Best of all was the staff who are wonderful! We can’t say enough about them. We also LOVED the breakfast. The rice with the side of spicy dipping sauce was our favourite rice dish in Myanmar. Order it with a sunny side egg on top. |We arrived after dark and at first the location was a bit overwhelming. The street markets come alive after dark, so many stalls and stands on the sidewalks. But once we adjusted we loved the location! Always felt safe (as we did throughout all of Myanmar) with friendly people. |At around $30 US per night for a deluxe room with breakfast included, when compared with the more modern hotels in the centre of town at well over $100 a night, there is no comparison. It’s fantastic value for money. Prepare and immerse yourself in the lively area and you...
