HOTEL BALMI, After staying with 4 of my family in the HOTEL BALMI for 20 days, my experience in this hotel will not disappear in my life time memories. The rooms are huge, high security for the family, spotless clean, high tech light switch, amazing temperature control (even water for shower), very convenient to access to China Town and with fantastic house keeping team. My favourite activity was having a drink & delicious foods and looking the stunning sun set river view from roof top restaurant that is smashing.|On the roof top restaurant, Opposite of the river view, I can even see the Shwe Dagon Pagoda (the greatest landmark of Myanmar), WHAT A GOOD LOCATION IS. All the staff are well trained professional in their rows, very polite and willing to provide their relevant services to the guests at anytime even in the 2:00am. |My favourite staff are|Patrick (F&B Supervisor)|Shine Ko Ko (F&B Captain)|Zin Ko Khant (F&B Service)|Tin Win Aung (Bartender)|Thura Maung ( Operation Manager)|Than Naing Lin (Bell Boy)|Soe Aung (Night Security)||Then, I celebrated my 43rd birthday party at the HOTEL BALMI roof top restaurant. All the decorations, live music, foods & drinks managed by restaurant manager Patrick & team. My birthday party was my best party I have ever had. |All my family really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We strongly recommend to stay at HOTEL BALMI whatever the reason in...

When I was planning to visit with my family from London to Yangon for holiday, it was hard to choose the hotel for our stay. Finally, I chose HOTEL BAlMI. My choice was right. This hotel is built in 8 floors but the lifts are so fast. Impatient person myself, I dropped my jaw how fast the lifts are. Almost every time when I took the lift, I spotted a female staff with smiley face who clean the lifts, I realised the reason of the lifts are so clean and fresh. Me, my hubby, my teenage daughter and son had got connected rooms that can visibly see my kids in the next door. It felt me comfortable to see my kids are fine. The rooms are perfectly fine, the bed are made freshly in daily basis, fresh smell pillows, high pressure showers, clean towels, delicious foods in my bed, happy staff, whatever you name it, all are outstanding. The hotel has roof top bar & restaurant with stunning view. That’s amazing. Music was nice. Foods are great. The staff with happy face made my days. But I was not happy, my husband spent a lot of time at the roof top bar for the fine drinks and view. In my opinion, we all family really enjoyed the stay of the HOTEL BALMI , I personally recommend to choose this...

My family and another 4 Families ( All together 11 Adults )stayed this Nice Hotel during our Tour in Yangon. Very friendly and helpful staff assisted us and took care us very safely during our stay. We arrived Hotel in late night and arranged Airport pickup as we requested. Also Hotel organised Yangon & Bago Day Tours during our stay in Yangon. The Hotel staff Mr.Nay Min who fluent in English always assisted during our Tour and even we are doing shopping in Yangon streets and Shopping Malls. Very Clean and modern Hotel very close to shopping malls, Super markets, street foods streets...etc Rooms more spacious and AC Hot water are functioning well. During our stay we spent our evening at Roof Top Bar. Excellent friendly service and helpful at all. The Hotel Manger Lady very friendly and helpful at always to us. Definitely we are staying this hotel in next visit and Highly recommended.

I gave 3 stars for the location and restaurant service. But for room and lobby service I didn’t think they should get more than 2. Looked like they just renovated the property but the house keeper and the management team arranged everything so badly, housekeeper carts were everywhere so hard to walk through. Forget about sleeping in, the walls were so thin than you can hear everything, and the housekeeper started their shift so early, chit chatted. I had to check out the next day. Moved to another hotel. If you can avoid you should. But if you don’t. Care about the noisiness, then it should be ok.

I stayed at Hotel Balmi and had a generally decent experience. The food is good, though not excellent, but I enjoyed the rooftop Mini bar, which was a nice feature. One downside is that they don’t have an in-house laundry service, so they send your laundry outside. The rooms are not very spacious, but they are comfortable enough. The WiFi works fine, and the 24-hour electricity was reliable. Overall, it’s a good place for a short stay.
