Went to this place because of the decent reviews. The place is located at a pretty decent location if you are in town for business purposes. Stayed here for a night and paid 1500 for the room. Was expected a decently average and a clean room. The room looked decent at first glance, but the stay wasn't comfortable. The AC was at 17°c but all it did was made the room a bit less hotter, had to turn on the fan too. The fan however was making noises. There was no power sockets near the bed, the sockets and the switches were all next to the door. And the bed sheets and the blankets all felt dirty. Having a chewed gum on the bed side table convinced me that the sheets were probably not changed and just arranged after the last persons stay. The room had an attached toilet. The toilet seat was broken. You raise it and it just falls down. The toilet was just bad. They did have a shower, but the space is so small that you'd have to be desperate to shower in it. And the toilet doesn't even have a basin. So you'd just have to use the tap. The walls in the room are all very thin, especially in the toilet, so if there's someone else in the adjacent room's toilet, good luck, you'll hear everything. Finally, the room had a certain smell, can't say it was bad but it wasn't good either. To summarize, the rooms sounds cheap, 1500 for an ac room. but for the amenities and the hygiene and service, the price is still...
Read moreBikram- I'll leave my honest review and experience here so that it might be helpful for the people who are trying to know about the hotel. To be honest it was a wonderful experience and enjoyed my stay, you dont need to have a second option go for it you wont regret i promise... everything was perfectly maintained and synchronised, foods were delicious with reasonable price, service was satisfying enough, staffs were respectful towards their guests and one thing which i found bad was people in other rooms were making a lot of noise which disturbed me when i was trying to have my alone and peaceful time in the cozy room and price for the room is little bit expensive i wish they maintained a little bit price range of their rooms ... Other main thing to highlight is hotels in Nepal have a business system like they don't own a restaurant within their hotel and when their guests orders some food the hotel works as a medium and orders the food to the other restaurants which in results makes the price range high maximising their profits more than consumers satisfaction but Happy Hotel was different from others as they have their own restaurant and the price they offer is reasonable and genuine . Thank you for your service and...
Read moreI had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. Despite advertising air-conditioned rooms, the AC unit in my room barely worked it functioned more like a fan, circulating warm air rather than cooling the room. Given the high room rate, I expected at least basic amenities to function properly, but that was unfortunately not the case. Cleanliness was another major issue. The bedsheets were visibly dirty and looked as if they had not been changed or properly washed. The bathroom was in an equally unacceptable condition, with poor hygiene standards and a noticeable lack of maintenance. Additionally, the customer service was far from satisfactory. The staff displayed a dismissive and unprofessional attitude, and there was no effort made to address or resolve the concerns I raised during my stay. Overall, the quality of the room and service did not match the price being charged. I would not recommend this hotel to other travelers, especially those looking for cleanliness, comfort, and proper...
