Himalaya Inn — Hotel in Kathmandu Metropolitan City

I stayed at this hotel for two months during my internship in Nepal, and it was an excellent experience. The hotel is conveniently located just 20 minutes from the international airport and is situated in the city center. It offers a high level of security with two layers of electronic doors. The area around the hotel is vibrant, with a variety of restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Additionally, there is a farmers' market that opens every Saturday morning, just 7 minutes walk away. My room was designed like an apartment and came fully equipped with all essential appliances, making my stay comfortable and convenient. The owners, along with their daughter, were incredibly hospitable and kind. They were always supportive and went out of their way to ensure my stay was pleasant. Overall, my time at this hotel was unforgettable, and I will cherish the memories I made here. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting...

One of the best family friendly in heart of the city. The owners and staff are really friendlt and helpful. They even provided us with extra mattress when I had to accomodate a guest for a night. They also faciliated late checkout. Provides great view of the city. Peaceful environment, feels like home specially with that well-equipped kitchen. only problem is the building has narrow and difficult stairs and no lift or ramp, so not wheel chair friendly or might not be suitable for...

Niti and her mum have provided us with perfect hospitality! I definitely recommend this hotel. I could use every facility such as a washing machine, laundry area, kitchen and balcony. The room is totally clean and it has AC. The location is quite good, using a bike taxi, it costs only 60 NRS to go to the Thamel area. There is a supermarket near the hotel as well. They could even keep our luggage for a while when we visited another city. I'd like to come back to this...
