Hotel Crystal Pashupati — Hotel in Kathmandu Metropolitan City

I am extremely disappointed with my parents’ stay at Hotel Crystal in Kathmandu. The experience was completely ruined by the incessant noise during the night. Each night, from 12 AM to 2 AM, my parents were disturbed by the sound of heavy furniture being moved and event management equipment causing a racket. Despite multiple requests and complaints to the staff, nothing was done to resolve the issue.

The very purpose of staying at a hotel is to enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep, but Hotel Crystal failed miserably in delivering this basic expectation. Worse, the staff and even the manager dismissed our concerns, stating that the noise was beyond their control as they had a wedding function and a party on the weekend.

It is unacceptable that the hotel management disregards their customers’ comfort to this extent. For anyone looking for a restful stay, avoid this hotel. While the room and bathroom were in good condition, thanks to recent construction, this hardly compensates for the lack of basic courtesy and common sense shown by the staff.

I had a wonderful experience staying at Hotel Crystal Pashupati. The location is perfect — just a short walk from the Pashupatinath Temple and very close to the airport, which made travel super convenient.
