This is classified as a three-star hotel and by Nepali standards it may be closer to a 3.5 star hotel. Staff is friendly and speaks some English. Cash and credit card accepted as well as perhaps local e-wallet options.
Rooms are simple, spacious, and comfortable. In room AC unit (didn't need it in mid-November, may function as a heater as well). There is also a ceiling fan. Bed was firm but comfortable. Bathroom is "wet", meaning the shower - while aimed into a bathtub - has no shower curtain and most of the bathroom gets wet when you take a shower. They provide flip-flops so you can keep using the bathroom even if it's wet. My room did not have blackout curtains. Ambient noise level from the street is minimal. No tea or coffee service in room but can be ordered from the restaurant.
Television offers some sort of special service I had no idea how to use and offered no local stations or cable options. Wi-fi was extremely spotty and repeatedly cut in and out. Not suitable for serious business/video conferencing needs.
Restaurant downstairs offers mostly local but also a few Western menu options. Fried chicken is tasty, and the French toast and fried eggs are acceptable. There is also a bar with a limited selection of local spirits (Old Durbar, Khukir) and a few imports (Jameson's).
Staff is friendly and is happy to store your luggage if you want to see a bit of the city after checking out. Prices are extremely reasonable, which makes the spotty wi-fi more understandable if...

On the day of check in I was in my local airport so I decided to call and inform them I will be arriving there today to check in just for reminder then all of sudden The hotel staff told me all the rooms are fulled we are sorry we will transfer your booking to our nearest another hotel chain I have no option than to accept it because I don't want extra hustle going here and there with my stuff and wasting my time, But I believe this is very unprofessional behaviour from hotel management what is the meaning of keeping online booking platform if you guys cannot manage as per customer desire service Moreover while transferring me from their one hotel chain to another they booked a bike I have a luggage of 18kg and I had hand bag of 5-6 kg just imagine how I had carried . I will suggest not to trust...
Read moreVery Dispassionate Never gonna come back and will told friends and friends of friends not be stay on this hotel. Unprofessional and Rude manner of receptionist and staff. Not organised.
Booked the room for 2 people through online and get the confirmation as well through email, We travelled from chitwan to ktm, when reached to ktm tried and exhausted, went to Hotel when we reached there receptionist told us they sold our room to someone else, when we asked why they sold our when we have reservations they told we don’t have any room available and they can’t help out 😒 Such disappointed form such nice hotel seeing poor hospitality.
If management can’t hold and look after reservations then don’t take any reservations guest do only walk-ins guest.
I hope next travellers or guests will not face such a problem that we faced today, so i am writing this review.
If upper management can look after this problem it will be more...
