Hidden Leaf Bed & Breakfast — Hotel in Lalitpur Metropolitan City

Charged full price for undelivered service; rude staff; dirty room.

Details: We stayed for an intermediate night. Ordered breakfast for 6.30 to leave afterwards immediately and discussed this before with staff. Taking a shower in the morning was impossible due to the water being cold and it being winter (January). Suggestion of the staff: "Wait till 10 am until the water is warm." Staff knew this problem would arise, did not mention it and charged full price in a very rude way.

Side note: The bathroom and bed were not clean (liquid stains on blanket and bedsheets, bathroom overall not clean).

I do NOT recommend to stay...

Took a chance on this “hotel” even after reading bad reviews — worst decision I’ve made in a while…by far! If you choose poorly like me, be prepared to be greeted with rude and condescending receptionist, ridiculous rules like no entry after 10 pm (without forewarning). Other staff we interacted with was remarkably rude as well. Not to mention lack of toiletries, unclean room, torn blanket cover. Promised complementary breakfast but no one was around to serve. Hidden leaf bed and breakfast is a hidden gem. The rooms are clean and the window views are incredible. The beds are soft and the pillows even softer. The bathrooms are separate and shared but are kept clean. Water is hot provided they turn on the switch. What made this place truly special was the kind and helpful staff who went above and beyond to provide us with anything we asked for. The food they make is delicious! I would stay here again and will recommend this place...
