I stayed at this hotel for two nights. The Terai plains were hot and I was very sweaty, so I wanted to take a hot shower at night, but only cold water came. I called the reception, but no matter how many times I called, there was no answer. I was so tired that I fell asleep without taking a shower the first night. The next night, there was no hot water either. So I went to the reception and asked directly. The receptionist said, "The wiring is broken and we are repairing it now. It will be fixed in 30 minutes or an hour." So I said, "Please call me when it is fixed," and went back to my room. However, no call came no matter how long I waited. So I went back to the reception, but she had already gone home. I asked a night watchman, and he said, "It's night, so no one is repairing it. Hot water will not come tomorrow." It is very unfortunate that there was no hot water in the bathroom during my stay. This is not just me, but all of our guests over the past few days. Our room was spacious, cleanliness was ok. It had AC which we didnât need, but the promised minibar was missing. Our room had a kettle, cups and drinking water in bottles provided, which was nice for a tea or coffee. Bed was comfortable. WiFi was fine.
Staff was very friendly but there was some confusion about the confirmation of my booking and when I called them to confirm I couldnât really get a definite answer but in the end it worked out.
Hot water was fine but the shower has no walls or curtains so floods the whole bathroom floor.
Food in the restaurant was good but sometimes took a really long time and other group of guests said the same.
We had a good stay for several...
Read moreFive Elements was my highlight in Lumbini. My room was spacious and the AC was excellent and rescued my stay in hot Lumbini, which is definitely worth a visit but during the dry season you should definitely stay at a clean, modern hotel, such as Five Elements, that is well equipped with comfy big beds with exquisite cotton duvets and soft dreamlike pillows and covers. The bathroom has got everything you need and on top a water jet of high pressure - something I miss so often in hotels! |The location is perfect because it is a bit back from the main road. My sleep was brilliant and I also enjoyed the quality of my food served by friendly helpful staff. |It isnât far from the beautiful Maya Devi Temple, which I liked best. Actually, this hotel isnât far from any attraction in Lumbini. |All in all, I can only recommend staying there, booking was easy, without complications of any kind. I can say that Five Elements made my stayđ|Thank you đ very...
