The hotel is located in a very strategic location from where you can look at the Annapurna, reach the sunrise/sunset point in 7/8 mins time to the top and also a nice cafe called Aati Cafe who serves great coffee. All the rooms comes with an access to a balcony which helps you to get rid of the feelings of confinement in a room for such price with a fantastic view of the Annapurna. You can view the Annapurna from your bed, if it's a full moon night then you can watch the mountain range clearly from your room without steeping out in the cold wind. The amenities in the bathroom are very nice. They use solar heating for the water in the toilet thus just wait a bit for them to flow hot/warm. The blankets are great and so is the pillow (it's rare to get such pillow in such property) which says they have looked into details. The room comes with a electric water kettle for you to have warm water in your winter day visits. The owners of the property serves the guests by themselves and they are very cordial and helpful. They also prepare food for the guests too and they are good cook. You will get Sakshuka too hear as they worked in Israel. The kitchen is spanking clean. They will go out of their way to help you to make your visit comfortable by arranging rides to Zipline or Paragliding so that you can save time.

Truly a pristine hotel. Rooms, Linen, as well as the entire property, were immaculately clean. Sweeping 270-degree views from corner rooms and even better from rooftops (Macchapucchre, Annapurna, Pokhara city, and Fewa Lake). Walking distance to Sarangkot view tower. The caretaker and staff were courteous, friendly and professional. Thoughtfully curated plants and flowers in and around the property. There are a few friendly dogs at the property. We felt 3 days were a stretch and hopped to Pokhara city for a day. Although the food was delicious and prepared fresh we found it to be a bit expensive given the easy connectivity with the town. There are options around to eat. Breakfast was really good. Avoid rainy and cloudy weather for clear views. If you have your own car/bike then it's better to stay at Sarangkot than Pokhara IMHO.

Everything I love with the hotel. The location is great for sunrise and paraglide point. Before we go, we already heard the food from this hotel is amazing! That is true! Every room of this hotel are face to the sunrise side so you can also enjoy the sunrise on bed. At night, I have good time of doing star photographing and enjoy the night view of Pokhara! I will coma back for next trip. If I have to say something didn’t like is you have to take taxi to arrive to hotel from downtown Pokhara. But this is far from the crowd and this is what I want. The staff have suggested us a good option to arrive to the hotel and they have fast and helpful response so I got everything I needs for help!

Horrifying Stay. Felt Helpless as My Wife Was Threatened and We Feared for Our Lives I never imagined I’d have to write something like this, but what happened to me and my wife at this place was beyond shocking and traumatic. I’m writing this so that no one else ever has to go through what we experienced. Before booking, we saw several bad reviews about this hotel, but we made the mistake of ignoring them. From the moment we arrived, something felt wrong. The owners’ behavior toward my wife was extremely uncomfortable. their stares, their tone, their overall attitude were creepy and inappropriate.

As a husband, I felt completely helpless watching my wife feel unsafe and anxious because of how the owners were behaving. Things got much worse when we confronted them about it. Instead of apologizing, they threatened us. One of them actually said that my wife “might get raped here” and that they could “kill” me if we didn’t stay quiet. Hearing those words from the people running the place was horrifying. We were just tourists, far from home, and that night we couldn’t sleep at all. Every sound made us anxious. I was scared for my wife’s safety and genuinely worried something terrible might happen. It was the most terrifying night of our lives.

They keep on saying that this is a family run business and yet they are always working to destroy families.

This wasn’t just bad service. It was a complete violation of basic human decency. The owners are not only unprofessional, they are dangerous and threatening. If you value your safety and peace of mind, please do not stay here. No matter how affordable or convenient it seems, it’s not worth the risk. What we went through at this place will haunt us for...

The Worst Experience of My Life. Unsafe, Traumatizing, and Run by Predators I don’t usually write reviews, but what happened to me and my husband at this place was so terrifying that I feel it’s my responsibility to warn others, especially women. We saw a lot of bad reviews about this place before booking, but we made the mistake of not taking them seriously. I wish we had listened. From the moment we arrived, I felt something was off, the owners behaved in a way that made me deeply uncomfortable. Their stares, their words, their overall attitude , it was beyond unprofessional, it was creepy.

As a woman, I did not feel safe for even a single moment in that hotel. What makes it worse is that when we raised our concerns about how the owners were behaving with me, instead of apologizing or taking responsibility, they threatened us. One of them actually said that I “might get raped here” and that they could “kill” my husband if we didn’t stay quiet. Imagine being in an unfamiliar place, far from home, and hearing that from the people who are supposed to host you.

We were just tourists and we didn’t deserve to be treated like this. I cannot describe the fear and helplessness I felt that night. We didn’t sleep properly, we just wanted to get out alive. No one should ever go through that. Please, if you value your safety and dignity, do not stay here. The owners are not just rude, they are dangerous, manipulative, and capable of saying horrific things. This was not just a bad stay, it was a nightmare that left me shaken long...

this is probably one of the best kept secrets of sarangkot. although not quite at the top, the rooms have great views of the annapurna range as well as pokhara down below. but then anyone staying at sarangkot could get a great view within a five minute walk from practically anywhere. what makes this establishment special is maya didi's cooking. there are these people we come across who will make you something as simple as an omelet and it will taste heavenly. maya is like that. whether it is aloo paratha for breakfast, mushroom soup for lunch or nepali thali for dinner, you will wish you had two stomachs to fill. and even if you are not staying at the hotel, you should drop by just enjoy the food. and of course there is the warm hospitality of a family-run hotel. maya didi, nabin da and their helping hands are always eager to please the guests. the moodiest member of the family is jhilke, a cross between the bhutia and german shepherd, jhilke fiercely guards the hotel from rodents and felines, and barks at scooters passing by the road. and sometimes, if he takes a liking to you, he will let you rub his belly.|the setting is such that guests become friends over dinner and breakfast on the terrace. |this is the kind of hotel you want to stay at to get away from the din of the cities. this is the kind of place where you could stay for a month and write a book. this is the kind of place that makes you want to quit whatever else you were doing and settle down there.|cant wait to...
