One year later..., I'm looking for a hotel in Amsterdam and saw my review. I am still shocked at how poorly I was treated! Read on, and please spend your money elsewhere. The website does not say where to get their shuttle from Schiphol. On the third call they answered the phone and told me to go to c13. It took 30min to find the sign. Away from the other hotel shuttles and marked as staff transportation, including a KLM sign, photo is attached. I waited 15 minutes and called them again, they assured me that although there were no markings it was the shuttle stop and it ran every 30 minutes. It came and 2 1/2 hours after arriving in Amsterdam I was finally at my hotel, about 5km from the airport. At the hotel I queued for checking. There was one person in front of me. He called some of his group over and the staff helped the 6 of them and left the check in see to something. About 5 minutes later she returned. I felt I was treated rudely and asked to speak with the manager. She was the manager. I asked her if I could cancel my room as I felt the shuttle and check in service was poor. She told me I could cancel my room and stay at different hotel, but I would not get a refund. I told her that didn't sound like a smart thing to do and requested to check in. She told me there was a 7 euro fee on top of what I had already paid I gave a 10 euro note and requested change. She requested I pay with a card. I told her I wanted to pay with cash and expected change. She told.me they were a no cash hotel and if I insisted on paying with cash I would not get change I was fed up with how I was being treated and asked her for permission to video her . She called the police and said I had been loud and upset I have the video, I was calm. The police told me they canceled my room, refused to refund me and made me leave the property. I called American Express, who I booked with and they said it will take them 3-4 weeks to investigate. I'm at the Hampton by Hilton now, they have been very helpful and have treated me in the manner that I expect Beware the Ramada airport at Schiphol, spend more money at Hampton Airport and get treated professionally.

The Ramada by Wyndham Amsterdam Airport is a practical and comfortable option for travelers seeking convenience near Schiphol Airport. Located just a short shuttle ride from the airport, the hotel is ideally situated for those with early flights, layovers, or business in the nearby area. The rooms at the Ramada are spacious, clean, and well-appointed, offering everything you need for a restful stay. The beds are comfortable, and the soundproofing is excellent, ensuring a quiet night’s sleep despite the hotel’s proximity to the airport. Each room comes with amenities such as a flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi, a minibar, and a work desk. The bathrooms are modern and equipped with complimentary toiletries, though some guests might find them slightly dated. The hotel’s facilities are a highlight. There’s a fitness center for those looking to keep up with their workout routine, as well as a sauna and indoor pool, which are perfect for unwinding after a long flight. The on-site restaurant serves a variety of dishes with both local and international options, and the breakfast buffet is plentiful, offering a good selection of hot and cold items to suit different tastes. One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is the complimentary airport shuttle service, which runs frequently and makes getting to and from Schiphol a breeze. The staff at the Ramada are generally helpful and efficient, with the front desk open 24/7 to assist with any requests or provide travel advice. While the hotel is great for airport access, it's worth noting that it’s a bit far from Amsterdam’s city center. If you plan to explore the city, you’ll need to account for travel time, either by public transport or taxi. However, for those prioritizing proximity to the airport, this is a minor inconvenience. Overall, the Ramada by Wyndham Amsterdam Airport is an excellent choice for travelers who need a reliable and comfortable stay close to Schiphol. With its spacious rooms, good amenities, and efficient service, it offers good value, especially for short stays or business trips.

What began as a last-minute booking, following a change of plans with a previous hotel, turned out to be a surprisingly comfortable stay. Ramada by Wyndham, Amsterdam, is a decent hotel offering all the essentials for a short visit. The room was clean and well-equipped with a coffee machine and other amenities. The bed was comfortable, and the hot water in the shower was a welcome relief on a cold night. I was particularly impressed by the property’s emphasis on sustainability. As a frequent traveler, I’ve become more conscious of environmental impact and appreciate every effort made to preserve our planet. I was pleasantly surprised when the front desk offered the option to skip housekeeping for the next day, which I gladly accepted and was rewarded with a drink voucher for the restaurant. Throughout the room, there were subtle yet effective reminders encouraging guests to contribute to environmental preservation. Notes suggesting ways to save water or reuse bed linens reflected the hotel’s genuine commitment to reducing its carbon footprint. While the restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the self-service kiosk in the lobby ensures that snacks and coffee are available around the clock a thoughtful touch for travelers arriving late or leaving early. The complimentary shuttle service from Schiphol Airport to the hotel is another big plus, adding to the overall convenience. A comfortable stay with a conscience. I’d certainly consider returning on my next trip to Amsterdam.

I’ve literally just left this hotel after an amazing stay. I’m sitting at the airport writing this btw, that’s how grateful I am. I was a bit worried about the accommodation due what people had written and honestly it’s an amazing hotel. The staff are lovely, informative and professional. The hotel is clean, the rooms are WARM!!! TURN ON THE HEATER GUYS! and the curtains!!! the room turns into a blackout at night. Also, there are English speaking languages channel such as BBC, Disney and one more(I can’t remember). The bed is the most comfortable bed I’ve led in a hotel in a WHILE! THE PILLOWS! omg to die for! Guys, there may not be a jacuzzi, but the swimming pool is so warm, clean and private, to the point me and my man were alone for 2 hours there. We had fun, lol. The price list for the mini shop downstairs was lil pricey, e.i €4 for a Fanta, Coke but it’s expected. Also the location really isn’t that bad, I don’t get all the fuss I read. The minibus is so on point and on schedule from the airport and back and it’s only an 8 min drive. Then from the airport a day ticket to Amsterdam Central is €10.45. The journey to the central is legit only 19 min. With the day return, you can go to Dam all day long and come back to the airport, get on the bus & you’re back at the hotel in 8 mins. Only thing is after 23:45, the minibus stops working and for an 8 min drive, taxi fare is €25-30. It’s mad but that’s not on the hotel. Lastly, would just love, love, love to say a thank you to the staff. We checked out this morning and I forgot my coat. I got to the airport and realised, gave the hotel a call to give it to the Ramada Bus Driver to return it to me when he next returns to the airport & Within minutes and on schedule, I had my coat back along with couple bits I didn’t EVEN KNOW I had forgotten, so THANK YOUUUUU Overall, you’ll have an amazing stay out here. Trust me. We came from London with high expectations, and they were met. THANK YOUUUU Amazing! Just provide a fridge and OMG I’m here...
