New York Pizza — Restaurant in Haarlemmermeer

An absolutely unacceptable experience that left us shocked and deeply disappointed. We placed an order via Uber Eats at 8:30 PM, with a promised delivery between 9:00 and 9:30 PM. Not only did the food never arrive, but we waited until 10:10 PM without a single update. Multiple attempts to contact the restaurant went unanswered. To make matters worse, they had closed for the night—without fulfilling the order or notifying anyone.

What’s worse is that even Uber Eats support couldn’t get in touch with them. This was not just a missed meal—it was a complete failure of basic responsibility and respect for customers. A family of tourists, after a long day, went to bed hungry and frustrated in a foreign country, simply because a business chose to ignore an active order and walk away.

To anyone thinking of ordering from here: don’t. This isn’t just bad service—it’s careless, unprofessional, and inexcusable. We expected a meal, not silence and...

Voor zover het een vestiging van de keten New York Pizza betreft, wordt het bijna niet beter dan bij deze.. Aangezien ik de rating hierop baseer, is het 5 sterren waard.

De 5 sterren waardering geldt ook, als we deze vestiging toetsen aan de meest duidelijke concurrent in dit segment: Domino’s.

Gaan we echter de vergelijking aan met pizzeria’s of Italiaanse restaurants in de breedste zin, dan blijft er van die 5 sterren maar 3 sterren over. Natuurlijk speelt hier voor een groot deel de kwestie van smaak: hierover valt niet te twisten maar die kan van persoon tot persoon verschillen. Maar ook zaken als ambiance, tafelbediening, verkrijgbaarheid van alcoholhoudende dranken spelen hierbij duidelijk mee. En in dat opzicht is een New York Pizza vestiging tegenover een authentieke Italiaan, als een snackbar is tegenover een respectabel restaurant.

Al met al, als je smaak met de geboden produkten van New York Pizza overeen komt, dan is dit klasse. Voor afhalen of bestellen. Maar eet je liever in een gezellig restaurantje bij gedimd (kaars-)licht je pizza in goed gezelschap, kijk dan liever verder.

Desalnietemin, voor velen hier is de New York Pizza zeker een aanwinst. Persoonlijk kom ik er weinig, om heel eerlijk te zijn. Dat doet echter niets af aan deze vestiging van de keten. Kortom gewoon 5...

Omg this place is a shame for any pizza makers. I have now try many times, but the experience is every time disappointing, the dough is big peace of bread, the ingredients are very low in quality and there is not effort to present the dish nicely. Here the pizza is just to get fat, not even to enjoy a lazy friday night. The order came in pieces, i guess because of the chaos... the fries were...
