Aruba is such an amazing place… but… the cost for all inclusive at Divi Dutch was not worth it. Service was so slow or nonexistent at some points. Some restaurants were very fast and friendly. Some had the rudest workers ever and it was not only our family who experienced such an unpleasant experience. Avoid Ginger restaurant. We loved the food in their Ginger restaurant but we have been talked down to there, we had to ask multiple servers to help and take empty plates from our table since our server who is also the host of the place was no where to be seen. The Red Parrot was the best restaurant for the dinner there. The bars and grill locations there did not open at the hours indicated and were refusing to take orders 20-25 minutes before the closing time. The towels booth ran out of towels very well before the closing time but they would not restock towels. The registration hostess at check in failed to properly mark the places on the it map and it took us days to figure out which places are included in our all-inclusive. We ended having most of our dinners elsewhere in the city and that was the best decision. The beach was the best part of the resort. It was clean and perfect for kids to play in the sand. If we ever do the Aruba vacation again we surely will avoid using all-inclusive option. Just not worth it. Also, the shuttles at Divi are terrible. They are always driving around so you cannot walk around without watching your back but then when you need a shuttle it’s never available and time to get a shuttle is about 30 minutes. That is important since restaurants spread over 3 Divi resorts. On the last day of our stay cleaning lady trashed the bag with our souvenirs and photos from the submarine tour. There are some nice fishing spots within walking distance. Loved Aruba, was not happy about Divi Dutch.

There were several issues with my stay that went completely unresolved, and it seemed the staff did not try or care. 1) I made reservations a month out on Expedia and specifically booked a studio suite with beach view. We got a pool view. I spoke with front desk and was told; "Beach view? Here? Not here, no." I know that's not true because we saw the beach-view rooms. 2) Our patio doors were stuck shut, the latch did not work, I reported this 3 times. We were there for 3 days with no access to our patio. 3) The ceiling fan did not work. I reported this on day 2 after we tried to use it the night before. 4) The room had not been properly cleaned. I could swipe my finger and leave a trail in the dust. 5) Water leaked from the shower, we had to put multiple towels on the floor to keep it from becoming wet & slippery. (I did slip once but did not fall or get hurt, luckily) 6) The front desk was closed by 8pm on Sat and Sun. We needed taxis, and I was told on 2 occasions we had to request taxis from the front desk, they would'nt give me a phone number for a taxi company. But I can't request a taxi if they're closed. At check-out I raised all of these issues, I was told "the manager is in a meeting", was given a card and told to call back, I called and emailed, never got a response. This was a bad experience. I did not get the room I reserved, we could not use all the features of our room, and the staff was not helpful or responsive. (*American Airlines put us up at the Renaissance on Monday night due to a flight cancelation, and their customer service put Divi Dutch to shame) We loved Aruba, we would never stay at any Divi hotel.

Just spent 9 days here, room only. Room was very nice with pool/garden view on 2nd floor. There was some traffic noise from the busy street (sirens on emergency vehicles and idiots revving their engines and squealing their tires) and we had to hang a blanket over the opaque glass bathroom door to block the exterior light at night because it was way too bright for sleeping. Also, had efficiency so we bought groceries at Ling's and made our breakfasts and lunches in our room and ate on our balcony - this was very nice. Dinners were all at locations around Manchebo resort and the casino , and they were all very good. We tried to eat at one of the Divi restaurants but were told we had to buy a "ticket" for $45USD each, so we skipped that. Resort employees were very helpful and nice. Only had one non-critical issue with one person who's English was not very good. Resort area was very safe at night and shuttles were very handy for getting around. Due to COVID, we estimated that the capacity was around 30% so it was very quiet and we could get a beach or pool lounger at any time of day. Drulf beach is very nice. There are some areas where there are rocks and shells/coral but if you walk along for a few more yards there are areas where you do not need beach shoes to get into the water. All three pools were very nice and well maintained. The central pool has the bar and a hot tub. Lots of anoles and iguanas around so if you don't like lizards then maybe not the place for you to visit. They are harmless if you leave them alone. Would recommend Divi Dutch Village to others.

All Divi resort facilities deserve a 5 star review in my opinion. We have been coming for more than 7 years and it is surely like coming home. We bought a timeshare with the amazing Marco right after our first visit (7 years ago) and never looked back. Some things you have to just be aware of due to it being an island as much as every country has their own regulations esp due to COVID-19 but I feel it is the traveler’s own responsibility to do their own research before traveling in general 🤪 We know a lot of staff members by name, like Maureen, the amazing and most knowledgeable Front Desk Manager I have ever met in my entire travel life. Maureen Connor is a beautiful person inside and out whom accommodates your family’s vacation needs each and every time we visit. The entire Divi establishment and staff make you definitely feel like at home each and every year. Our timeshare (Divi Dutch) is where there are no elevators and we have been aware of it when we bought it and don’t mind at all since we see it as an exercise (only 3 floors), but all other units have elevators of course. All timeshare units contain everything you need from new pots and pans to an blender giving you the options to prepare your own meals. If you decide to go out, the resort has plenty of fabulous restaurants on site. Also, besides enjoying the white sand beaches at the Divi, you have a choice between endless pool for all ages. This is imperative when you have small children, we explored all of the pools since our children were 1 year of age and now at 8, they still have plenty of options and mega fun swimming in them. What we liked the most is that this Divi is a family friendly and for any age resort. We see many families but also plenty of couples and mostly you don’t feel to be cramped in at the beach or any spot since the resort has so much room to offer that sometimes you don’t even see guests. Again, we surely love the Divi and firmly believe that no other resort on Aruba gives you such a multitude of choices covering all your vacation needs in one spot. Aruba, you truly are the happiest...

My husband and I travel quite a bit. I had heard so many good things about going to Aruba. While Aruba is beautiful, it wasn't my favorite but I would definitely return. We stayed at Divi Dutch which is a very small part of the Divi community. The room was huge, very clean, and comfortable. The tiki bar had very good food and also great service. Shirley was awesome! The bunker bar also had good service. My biggest complaint is that there is no beach service, no room service, and no one stocks your room with coffee or water. You must go and get your drinks yourself and if you want anything in your room you have to buy it. I had to go down to the buffet in order to get my morning coffee. I would have preferred it on my balcony. I understand this is first world problems however every all-inclusive resort I have ever been to has beach and room service and coffee in the room. Take your own cup to carry. There are refillable stations for water all over the resort. They will also fill up your cup with alcohol if that's what you want.

Booking the restaurants can be somewhat difficult. The concierge line seems to be always busy. They only let you book 48 hours in advance. So if you go, definitely book as far in advance as possible.

The food was actually very good overall. I have no complaints about the food, the service, or the drinks.

If you go, definitely go on the UTV tour. It was absolutely amazing! I will include pictures. It was so much fun and it was a great way to tour the island! We did go into town and walk around. We also took the trolley. It's very quaint. If you want to swim, you should probably have beach shoes. The sand under the water is very sharp because it's coral.

They did have entertainment every night and you do have access to the other resorts. My favorite night was karaoke night.

All in all, we had a great time on our vacation. I would definitely recommend...
