Hello, upon arriving for our reservation, we asked if there was a hostess or how we could be seated and 2 people told us to wait and someone would come. We waited for 15 min until a man named George came to us and asked if we had a reservation . We told him the reservation time and he said “you’re late”. We explained that we and other had been waiting and were advised that someone would come to seat us shortly. He said “you were not on time”, I kindly and softly said with a smile, “George , yes we were” and looked at us and said “no you weren’t”. He then said “you can sit by the bar and get drinks and we will come get you when your table is ready. George was rude, unprofessional and unfriendly. To have a reservation, we accused of lying about our arrival time then to be spoken to in the condescending tone that George spoke to us in, created a poor experience. After waiting at the bar with very kind bartenders, we were seated 15 min later. Our waitress took another 15 min to approach our table. All of these delays caused a huge delay with our after dinner plans. It was my mothers birthday, we advised the wait staff they did not sing or provide any birthday gesture, as other restaurants on the resort did. And when my mother and I ordered our food, the waitress said we were ordering “too much”. Then she “forgot” one of our appetizers. The overall experience for our last dinner on the resort, was horrible. Between the delays in seating, the rudeness and lack of timeliness if the employees, I would not recommend anyone trying paparazzi on their trip, to avoid having a poor experience. Additionally, over 30% of the seats were empty during the entire dining experience, hence the staff had few tables to serve and the lack of timeliness should not have been an issue. We also found it odd that paparazzi was “fully booked” on the reservation website, but many tables remained empty, before, during and after our dining experience. Not sure if the staff are able to block reservations to reduce the amount of work they are doing. On vacation we look forward to fun and pleasant experiences and this was not...
Read moreVery realistic review Although we had a reservation, we still had to queue for around 5-6 minutes to be seated. Wrong drink got served and the waitress has taken it back to the bar, only for my husband to wait another 37 minutes for the right drink to be served. My glass was full of lipstick stains too but didn’t want to complain as the last thing I wanted is to wait another half an hour for one, my husband just swapped the drink in anoter glass in the end. Garlic bread, which was served on the house, very chewy and unable to eat. Starters, antipasto and bruschetta, are a disgrace to the italian cuisine. It blows my mind to think that someone is unable to serve a delicious bruschetta. The antipasto was also lacking many things, the prosciutto crudo came in one piece and luckily I was hungry enough to devour the only good thing on that plate. My main meal, was nothing like a classy carbonara, or even un-classy^, as some would say they are better with double cream! I just couldn’t bother to take a picture of the pasta as I was already done with my experience here. A shame as the place looks really great and the atmosphere is...
Read moreThis was definitely a fine dining experience. Let’s start with the food . Myself and my sister ordered the veal over risotto and let me say it was the VERY best I had ever eaten. The risotto was creamy, flavorful and just cooked to perfection. The veal shank was presented beautifully, it was seasoned, tender, and delicious. 10 out of 10 Our favorite waiter really made this experience a magical experience. He was attentive, humeroius, and just a wonderful man who enjoyed the role he played in making you feel at home. He talked about how thrilled the Island locals are to see tourism flourishing again after the Covid pandemic I’m embarrassed to say I have a picture of him but I can’t read the name and I forgot it. But I will ask my sister and edit this post with his name as this person should...
