Lismore House & Barn — Hotel in Martinborough Community

Lismore House is the most incredible and beautiful property we were fortunate to stay at last week (30 Nov23 to 3 Dec23). Our son had his wedding in Martinborough and Lismore House was the perfect place to prepare for the wedding and host an after wedding lunch for family and friends. The house is outstanding, bright and spacious, with five large bedrooms, 4 have ensuite bathrooms, and spectacular views of the vineyard from the balcony. The entertainment areas downstairs are incredible, from the very spacious lounge, gorgeous separate dinning room, and wonderful kitchen/family room. The games room is fantastic for everyone, swimming pool and spa are brilliant. One of our highlights was hosting family and friends outside under the trees gazing out to the vineyard. (We could of been in Europe) The property is spectacular and totally recommend Lismore House. We will definitely be staying there again...

We had the pleasure of staying at this very beautiful home over labour weekend this year. We held a Hens weekend there and not surprising, the bride-to- be as well as the ladies were blown away! We spent the weekend relaxing by the pool, spa by night, competitive games in the games room, wine and cheese board over looking the beautiful vineyard while enjoying the peace and quite of the country! Don't get me started on the house! This beautiful home has everything! from every kitchen utensil to 5 beautifully designed bedrooms with your own beautifully designed en-suites. There is so many little nooks in this home that you can go and sit and have some quite time. We had such an awesome time it was definitely hard to leave. Thank you so much to Karen and Dan who made the process of renting this home so easy and nothing was a problem. We are so looking forward to coming back again!

Absolutely fantastic property. We spent 4 relaxing days here unwinding and touring around the local area. The homestead is faultless, spotlessly clean and soooo well equipped. Linen, towels and soaps were all of a very high quality. Some surprise bonus touches were included like coffee machine with pods, great wifi, Netflix & a fantastic wireless speaker that enabled us to play our own music file. Property location is great. It's off the main road, so lovely and quiet. We were met at the property by Lucy who ensured we knew how everything worked and that we had everything we needed. We'd never been to Martinborough before, the township is close by & we enjoyed the local cafes and an afternoon of winery visiting. Our favourite pastime was sitting on the deck enjoying the view over the vines. Would be a great venue for a wedding or other special occasion. Highly...
