Coming here ruined our experience of coming to Martinborough entirely. My group arrived for food. I have not ridden a bike in many years, am a very short girl and unfortunately made a bad decision to wear a mid length dress. Upon arrival I, embarrassingly, fell as I was trying to dismount my bike due to these factors (will never wear a mid length dress on a bike again). This was our first stop in martinborough for the day but were refused to even enter the premises as I was ātoo drunkā. There are ways in which you should approach the situation when you think someone is too intoxicated and I absolutely understand that this is a part of their job, but the way in which he yelled through the not even open doors yet āget out of here, sheās too drunkā while waving bye bye continuously through the window and laughing was absolutely disgusting while I tried to explain that my dress got stuck on the bike which caused me to fall. Shortly, after this we cancelled our accomodation and promptly decided to leave martinborough as this ruined our experience and made us feel as though we were not going...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDisappointing service, we arrived on the table and waited for 10 minutes and no one came, went inside to order to save them time and 3 of the staff sent me out and told me that someone is going out to get our orders, waited another 5 minutes no one went out, 3 tables have been occupied after us and they've been served with water and cutleries first then their food came after. We felt like were invisible. It is indeed busy on lunch time and regardless your team should have been more attentive during peak times. We walked out, you lost a paying customers. I will not recommend this vineyard cafe and I will tell my friends and colleagues about this story. Fix your service, re train your attendants and be polite, don't send customers out get the friggin order and...

It felt a bit dry as the only dip was hummus and while the fejjoa chutney was nice, it didnāt tie everything together and was overpowering in flavour so didnāt want to have it with everything.
The amount of cheese was a bit sad. An abundance of salad but again - no dressing or anything to carry it into flavourtown. Would come back for a glass of wine but skip the...
