Coronation Court Motel — Hotel in North Island

Stayed one night two adults one child and the young Asian owner was so helpful he gave us three rooms to look at which one would best accommodate our one night Stay and offered two complimentary milk as he knew we had a child we where also able to check out at 11.30am which allowed more time to sleep as we arrived in the night time best extra care by owner.

However a few things I noticed just some constructive feedback: Rooms are well cleaned but could do with some airfreshner or Damp rid as the rooms are very musty. Indoor plants 🪴 to allow Clean air flow and color in the rooms as the energy in the room is stagnant. Vibrant Color in the rooms alot of dark colors would be nice to see some beautiful pictures of Taranaki in the rooms.

Overall basic rooms with basic living and kitchen which is great and worth the price you pay if your looking for luxury Stay or heat pumped rooms this is not the place more suited for plain and...

Before you book this Motel please read through my personal experience of staying at this Motel before you make your decision. I'll start with the positive aspects of this Motel. The cost is very affordable only around $100 NZD (depending on which room) and the Motel is easily accessible and in a pretty convenient spot in the city. There are plenty of stores nearby and tourist attractions aren't more than a 15 minute drive away. But, unfortunately there are a few negatives to consider, one notable issue is the WiFi it is decently fast, but very inconsistent, it disconnects all the time and almost makes it impossible to actually use. Secondly, the "room service" isn't great. You do however get clean towels everyday but the staff do not make your bed or clean the room. The rooms themselves aren't terrible and is quite spacious though I wouldn't call the kitchen anything amazing. I've included an image if you want to see...

We traveled together from Wellington, 3 families and we booked 4 different rooms.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. By the time we arrived it was already a bit late but he was showing us the room and gave us the fresh milk. We got the upgraded room for family of four with 2 bathrooms. Really a big help in the rush morning.

The room is spacious, the kitchen is complete (with stove and microwave as well as dinnerware and cutleries), the TV works well and we got our parking space right in front of the room.

We came here to visit Mt. Taranaki, which is only 10 minutes drive from the hotel. It's not far from Fitzroy Beach and the famous bridge, Te Rewa Rewa Bridge. We hope we can go back here again and hopefully next time the weather...
