Livingston Motel — Hotel in North Island

Booked for a night. Online info was relevant, up to date, easy to navigate, great pictures. Gave me ample information to make my decision to stay there. I phoned ahead of booking as I knew we wouldn't be able to make the 9pm office time and Debbie and the team accommodated me. My kids loved the room - spacious, warm, large - we didn't get to use the spa bath in the end as we were only there for a night but next time for sure. Very happy we chose Livingston Motel...it is the whole package - lovely, friendly hosts - Debbie texted to say we had left some items in the room and we were grateful for that, very close to town. We highly recommend this motel. So...

We had a lovely stay here during our stop in Whakatane. Not only was the room one of the most cheaply priced but also comes with a private spa which has very powerful jets - definitely a highlight. Room was clean and spacious, just the bed is quite soft and duvet was really thin so not the most comfortable sleep but that’s expected in most places. Highly recommend for anyone stopping by...

My daughter and I traveled to whakatane from Brisbane to surprise my Dad for his 80th birthday ,we had the best stay here than anywhere I have ever stayed in NZ .So cosy ,clean ,and quiet .Close to everything ,it was a home away from home .The spa was fantastic and everyone including the cleaning staff were very friendly.
