Kopeo Indian Restaurant & bar — Restaurant in Bay of Plenty

We don't normally post reviews but my last experience at Kopeo Indian Restaurant was unbelievably disappointing in the extreme! We collected a takeout order last Monday 1st June. We live a 20 min drive away. One of the dishes we ordered and paid for was absent ( lamb korma ) we discovered on arrival home. I phoned immediately to complain. I was not offered an apology and told to return and collect the missing dish. I explained that was not possible and was told to collect it another day then! Hardly helpful but with no alternative I agreed. I phoned today Friday 5th June to arrange collection. As a portion of rice and a plain nan are exactly the same price on their menu I requested they substitute the rice with a nan. I was told a nan bread would cost me an additional $ 3.00 despite serving me a incomplete meal and the inconvenience of a 55 min round trip to collect the missing dish. Obviously customer satisfaction is of no importance at Kopeo Indian. It would not be fair to comment on the quality of the lamb korma as I already had a bad taste in my mouth. We will...

WORST INDIAN RESTAURANT EVER I feel sad for the locals who think that they have had the best Indian food, hospitality and service was pathetic we had to wait there for about 1 hr plus to get our order and it was tasteless. Chicken tandoori was so dry that it felt like rubber. Owner/ Manager was bragging about how good his food is and told that he will make good tandoori chicken and told us about the process, when they served the tandoori it didn't even taste like tandoori. I wish google would allow to rate this place in negative. as it is not eve worth a single star. Good Luck to your future customers. Absolutely superb service, friendliness and above all else tasty, delicious food - incomparable to any other Indian Restaurant I have eaten in.
