Post Office Hotel, Foxton — Hotel in North Island

Post office hotel is in the main street of Foxton opposite the Windmill.|The manager was lovely and gave us lots of advice. She also let us use the facilities in a room.next door such as the microwave. |Our room was a decent size and had a large modern ensuite. The only negative was the small shower.|The bed was pretty soft and comfy.|The hallway light stayed in all night and shone brightly under the door so that was a bit of a negative as it interrupted our sleep.|There is no restaurant or cafe in this hotel but there is a cafe across the road and a takeaways 4 doors to your right.| |Overall I would recommend this hotel if you were...

A great place to take an overnight break, located at the the centre of a small town, Foxton. Marama, the manager was friendly and helpful, she tried to explain the details of Foxton’s town centre for us, which was good. The room was spacious, clean and nice ensuite bathroom , a small flat TV, a mini fridge and nice double bed, and very quiet at night. Marama is definitely the HOST with the MOSTEST!! She's so kind, made us feel so comfortable and welcoming. Loved our room, had everything we needed. LOVED the view of the windmill when looking out our window. Bed comfortable. Shower pressure was amazing. Will be back again with the whole Family next time.
