The Park Motel — Hotel in North Island

So this motel is a hidden secret, lovely rooms full coking facility dependent on your room choice spa baths heat pumps smart TVs with free netflix owners/managers are the loveliest people nothing is a problem freindly and helpful. A little bit of general maintenance needs to happen as most of the rooms have some lighting issues,simple bulbs need replacing and a few missing fittings mostly the bathroom areas servicing is fantastic they take pride in keeping the rooms clean and sanitary for there guests and is very private quiet motel set back from the main road they offer a charge back facility for meals ordered in and if you just want some Uber eats the owners will bring it to your room once dropped off however the servicing and the happy smiling faces from the owners is worth 4 stars on its own stay...

My daughter and I stated here during tge holidays. We spent our first few nights at other motels and our last at the Park. The park was the most expensive. WiFi was useless, keep dropping off. The wet floor bathroom was a nightmare, the whole floor got wet having a shower and lucky there was a spare towel in the cupboard. The toilet roll holder and basin tap were loose. Could hear the next door person coughing all night and even heard them talking in the morning. So didn't get much sleep at all. Will not stay there again. Really needed a good night's sleep for our journey home...

We were warmly greeted and given room key. Parking in front of room. The room was large, very clean and with kitchenette. Bed was very comfy so we slept well as the area is also quiet. Really great shower pressure and plenty of towels, toiletries provided. There is a guest laundry which we used for 10 dollars including detergent. The motel is opposite a lovely park and we walked through it to the main street for shops and a restaurant. When we returned our key we were given a warm cheery send off. Thoroughly recommend a stay here and it is fantastic value...
