Pizza Hut Hawera — Restaurant in North Island

I wasn't a big fan of pizza hut growing up. I grew up in Hamilton and the pizza huts there could never get it right. Hard, dry, wrong toppings, no matter which pizza hut I went to. Put me off buying from pizza hut altogether. Until I moved here 2 years ago. Decided to grab some pizza one day as something different. First time it was beautiful. Cooked to perfection. Perfect amount of sauce. Got everything right. I thought well its always good the first or second time but i doubt it will last. I was wrong. Everytime I have ordered pizza from here for the last two years it's always been perfect. Always cooked just right. Aways the perfect amount of sauce, and always the right toppings. In general pizza was good value but the wait was rather tedious, ordered using the app and from time of ordering it took 46 minutes for order to be completed, pizzas were ready in the 15 minutes they had said it would take but the hot chips wait was just a joke 46 minutes, especially when you have 5 hungry kids waiting for food. Seemed very unorganized and a number of staff doing the minimum possible. To be fair this experience put a real dampener on what had been a really great day. We were looking forward to our bacon,chicken and bbq pizza with a garlic cheese stuffed base. Very disappointed in the amount of filling(meat) Sauce was a wee bit on the scarce side as well. Taste is good however for $19 it is overpriced. Yes a nice savoury bread is what my husband and I thought of it. Would hate to think how much our pizza would cost if we tripled the ingredients and extra sauce. What a disappointing dinner. Service is good but product does not...
