We stayed there as a school group they treated us really well and the food was pretty good. The rooms are basic but good. Theyvhave two heaters and one tv in each room. The location is goos becausr it is close to Queenstown and the airport and also some of the ski slopes. The service is alright because some of them are friendly. Rooms are a responsible size, clean but worn. Getting to town can be a pain as the shuttle bus does not run all day, just limited hours morning and evening. There is a bus service calling at a stop a reasonable walk away. Mountain/lake views are not available in all/most rooms. Restaurant has a limited menu and is set at 2 or 3 course, making it quite expensive, so did not try. Staff are very pleasant...

Our room was lack of air condition, and combined with poor noise prevention we couldn't get a proper early night sleep while the other tenants are (righteously) enjoy their stay. We are in a catch 22 where we shut the windows so the room become unbearably suffocating or open them and deal with the noise instead.
