Breakfast at Tiffanys — Hotel in South Island

To say Breakfast at Tiffany's is great would be an understatement. We booked this stay pretty last minute as we were arriving in Queenstown a day earlier than planned. Peggy, the WONDERFUL host offered to collect us from the airport - cheaper than a taxi. We arrived and were welcomed into this lovely home straight away. After being in a campervan for the most part of our trip, this felt like a dream. We stayed downstairs in the beach themed room (Themed rooms, how funky is that!?) which was just lovely. Towels, toiletries and other home comforts were provided for us (There is even a spa bath if that tickles your fancy). The view from the backyard is breathtaking and you can take it all in from the pool if you're brave enough for a bit of chilly water. The breakfast that was provided in the morning was just delicious, we really didn't want to leave and wished we had booked our whole stay with Peggy. I enjoyed her and her B&B so much that I rang her to take me to the airport when it was time to go home. So nice to see her smiling face one more time and hear a few more of her incredible stories! Peggy picked us up from the airport for a very reasonable cost. We recognised her as she has blue hair! She was very friendly and welcomed us to her home. Breakfast at Tiffany's was fabulous, quirky, clean, with all the home comforts and even a spa bath, which was such a luxury after our trek. Peggy allowed us to keep our luggage there during the trek which was a great help. Breakfast was delicious catering for my gluten free. Nothing was too much trouble, even driving us around. An amazing 3 night stay. Originally booked 1 night but extended as enjoyed the stunning breath-taking views across the lake & mountains beyond. Hire a car on arrival or message for availability as the airport couldn't provide due to Easter hols. Close to the airport, so very convenient for Queenstown centre.
