It was the “no worries” attitude of the owner who made this trip so good. We booked last minute to visit a sick family member and had to bring a small dog as there was no time to book him in a kennel. The owner was so easy to deal with and nothing was an issue (had to call him twice from Christchurch with questions). ||The room was older style but it was so clean! I will admit that I was nervous booking so quickly and arriving late in the evening (could have been a disaster) but I was pleasantly surprised to find the beds all impeccably made, the bathroom was clean, as was the kitchen. There was also a separate open plan lounge and kitchen area. The beds were comfortable and the facilities including parking next to the apartment were adequate and convenient.||The location of the motel is good as it is close to the beach and other scenic attractions.
