Everything is just beautiful and to the credit of owners.|As soon as you arrive to this grand historic home, you can see every attention to detail, past and present, has been thought of.|The rooms are so calming and comfortable, but modern. Read moreGreat hosts, Andrea and David. We stayed in the Naylor Room, the largest room by far (most are quite small). Very comfortable with adequate storage for our clothing and bags. Breakfast was very nice and the restaurant outstanding for dinner. Lots of peaceful outdoor seating. The hotel has a great location close to many fantastic wineries, biking, walking and boating. David was very helpful setting up winery tours and a luncheon. Cromwell, the town in which Oliver's sits, while very small is quite nice for some wool shopping or just wandering about. Read moreWe stayed at Oliver’s Lodge and Stables on the front end of a multi day bike trek and at the Lord Clyde on the back end. David and Andrea Ritchie have done a fabulous job of renovating a group of buildings dating back to the mid-1800’s. The food on offer is terrific. The rooms are wonderful and very well equipped and the gardens are lovely. Andrea’s sister Victoria manages the Lord Clyde and Andrea is at Oliver’s.
