Le Chalet — Hotel in Waiheke

This was a Christmas gift from the kids, and we were going to a wedding while we were there. Le Chalet Appartments were set in a rural setting, quiet and peaceful. They offered the use of an infinity pool, Spa Pool. The appartment itself, was well presented. It had everything you needed for when you first arrived, This included toiletries which were from The Soap Co, oh they were a treat,,, .||We had a 2 bedroom apartment and both were un suite. The rooms were small but adequate for a couple travelling. Sky Tv, and Wifi. Stayed in the smallest apartment which was very cute and suited our needs. Nice surprise chocolate treat, tea, coffee, hot choc and milk on arrival. Apartment complete with towels, washing up liquid, dish brush, pool towels, table top cooker, kettle, microwave, cooking utensils, dinnerware etc. ||Quick wifi was also a bonus during our stay.||Had a lovely stay, owners live on site with their cute dogs. They were amazing friendly and made our stay more enjoyable thank you. ||Pool area has a great view and pool is inviting, well maintained and perfect to cool off in. Wish I could give less than one star for this review. The city of Auckland recently experienced extenuating circumstances where it was shut down due to flooding which prevented travel both into Auckland and Waiheke Island. After years of planning/delaying our trip (due to Covid), the weather cancelled our flight preventing us from visiting Auckland altogether. Le Chalet was not flexible at all with this and refused to issue any kind of refund and have been the only company who refused to offer any kind of support.
