Our Waiheke day trip was amazing all thanks to Steve, our driver and the team from Waiheke Executive Transport! For my partners birthday we decided to visit a few vineyards on Waiheke for the day.

We booked with Waiheke Executive Transport a month in advanced and their email communication was outstanding! Unfortunately due to Covid-19 some vineyards were having to close/reschedule due to staff shortages so our itinerary kept changing. The team at Waiheke Executive Transport were so incredibly understanding and adjusted our itinerary with ease.

Steve met us at Kennedy Point for pick up and even personally walked us inside our first vineyard to ensure we met up with our other friends. As he drove us around the island he explained a little bit about the history of the area and other places we should visit on our next trip over. He kept us punctual all day and ensured he always let me know exactly where he'd be to collect us.

I enquired into Waiheke Executive Transport servicing our wedding transport. They gave me a per guest cost for one or both way options (no other specific guidance on this quote was given). I went away and obtained transport requirements from our guests and then went back to them advising the quantity of guests, names and addresses for transport needed. I was then called back telling me they would only take ALL of the guests or none at all - in a way that almost made me cry. He did not care that some guests were families that were making their own way to and from the venue. I later found Waiheke Shuttles (nervous I would get the same response) but instead they were super nice, friendly and more than happy to help. I would highly recommend them as an alternative. Booked a private tour for the two of us to explore the island for the day with a focus on a scenic tour, rather than a wine tasting tour. Not knowing what to expect, our prestigious driver Harry created the most wonderful scenic tour we could have imagined. Being a local islander, Harry drove us to some of the most remote areas of the island. We saw views from the remote beaches to the views from the highest areas overlooking the vast ranches and vineyards. We had a rather impromptu visit to a gin and vodka distillery, Waiheke Distilling Co., that was scheduled to be closed for the day but instead opened up for us because of Harry’s connections.
