The reception was welcoming, polite and very helpful in getting us our rooms speedily given the forms you have to fill as to where you have been and if you have a fever because of the corona virus 🦠 pandemic. Other staff were also very polite even as they ensured every customer observed covid19 protocols put in place . Temperature checks and hand sanitizer every time you walked through the entrance door, even if you just had to pick up something from the parking lot. You can’t help but notice the place was really really clean, they had these seals on every room door showing the room had been disinfected, with all these I was confident the premises was corona virus free 😊. The rooms were very very cozy , serene, welcoming and I loved the ambiance. I had a very restful night, once I laid down it was till morning, can’t tell if it was because I live in a hectic town called lagos or the serene room with clean, fresh, soft, comfy sheets and mattress. I didn’t even remember to charge my phones ....lol. For food I ordered room service and the kitchen had very limited options, don’t know if it was the time of the day but, I couldn’t get omelette with my jollof rice heart breaking they rather offered boiled eggs. The jollof rice was tasty the meat was soft and tasty too well cooked. The boiled eggs came with their shell and was difficult for me to peel as always, not like there’s was particularly difficult. The service was on time and the staff was polite. Even though the rooms were extremely comfy but as an architect, I was expecting some “ghen ghen” furnishing especially considering the price per night. Furnishing was pretty basic bed, table, wardrobe and kitchenette no flow every item was just by itself, no sync nor style. I guess they went strictly for functionality thus neglecting aesthetics. The President suite has 4 bedrooms 2 luxury living rooms Multiple guest toilets The kitchen had me thinking about the future! Every meal was out of this world from English breakfast to local Arabian dishes & many more. Did I talk about the pool? I had a swell time & even enjoyed relaxing by the cabanas afterwards. Theres a standard GYM just above the gazebo thats super clean & if you’re a workout freak you know what it feels to get gymgasms when all you need is right there. ALL SAFETY PROTOCOLS ARE OBSERVED. It’s the new normal but certain people tend to easily forget ( You should always have a clean face mask with you ALWAYS! ) Also I had pizza by the gazebo with friends to end my day.
