Tropic Galleria — Local services in Central Business District

This place is badly managed. I booked it for an event and they took my money then canceled on me 6hrs before we were due to decorate the event even though we paid a month prior. They rented the space to someone else and kept both of our payments. There’s leaks and damp everywhere. The steps and lifts are designed to make you crazy. Half stairs everywhere. Kenedy who manages the place has criminal tendencies. After he canceled on my event, he switched off his phone and made us and the other event clients fight for the venue. We didn’t leave till midnight, he never called or came to resolve a problem he created. I regret booking them for my event. They made me use their outdoor space after I paid for an indoor space. My event was hot, badly lit, hard to secure, all the external ACs blew their heat and leaked water into my event. Their Staff lied about everything they promised that they would do to make this walkway more useful and delivered nothing. They rented out a space that doesn’t have a designated restroom so you have to use the Vibe restroom and it stinks of damp and urine in there. It’s the worst managed place in its price range in the whole of Abuja. They are actually the worst. Please don’t book them for your venue. They are totally unprofessional and also charge arbitrarily. I saw this place on Instagram and decided to see how it is in reality, if it's actually this magnificent. The building is actually beautiful and the art works are amazing, I must say the person that constructed it is a lover of art. The first shop I entered was an icecream shop which was quite affordable than the looks, I had cookies and cream for 1200 a scoop and then I walked around with my friend to see the other shops in the place. There are boutiques, ballroom, pharmacy, art store, a shop fro nice ornaments and ceramics , a restaurant, and Ur Cafe right in the middle of the place. I had a nice Chapman drink for 1800, they had an amazing chicken pie for 750 and I also had a Nutella filled doughnut for 500 though they were stingy with filling it with Nutella. There's also a photo studio (George Okoro) located inside the building. I'm not sure I mentioned all the shops but this is a nice and beautiful place to go to if you have the funds.

This is such a stunning place, the mall is really cozy, staff well trained, the environment is surreal. It is amazing that we have such a structure in Abuja Nigeria. I like that everywhere us photoshoot ready literally😂😂 The ballroom is another work of arts on its own, of give me the met gala feel, the really long stairway, the purple aesthetic and the hall itself is such a stunner. I’ll recommend that you have your wedding reception or anniversary event there for sure. Bottom line is, whatever you decide to do at Tropical Galleria, whichever if their vendors or services you intend to use or experience, you’ll have fun and easy feeling doing it.
