I’m always very skeptical when it comes to writing reviews, but I’m provoked beyond words. Apparently I had a reservation, paid off to guarantee the booking, to arrive the next day. At the point of making the reservation which i did at the with cashier (Ebere) at the checking desk. The cancellation policy was shown to me with cancellation charge of 30% lose on the full accommodation fees. I had a need to change my arrival date and I had call the hotel severally but to no avail. Came down to the hotel in person to reschedule my arrival date, only to be told by the unprofessional receptionist that she doesn’t know anything about moving the reservation date, but asked me to wait while she sends a mail to the manager. This I gladly oblige but after several minutes of waiting for what seems like a wild goose chase. I decided to cancel my reservation. To my amazement the lady said she also does know anything about canceling a reservation, that she’s only employed for checking in. I demand to speak with the manager who she claimed was not even around, to further end my mystery at this hotel. I asked for the manager’s cellphone again she refused to give to me. To this end I had to result into shouting and demanding to speak to someone or provide solution. It’s demeaning for an hotel with a lot of good reviews, to have descended to the level of employing without adequate training of the staffs. The lady was so rude to the extent that she started referring to me as guy! And even went to call me a nuisance. This is really not acceptable and I will urge the management vintage suit to...
Read moreMy name is Mrs Williams Eboreime, I am a verified guest who had a wonderful stay here. From the moment I found them online, to the journey down here, to getting a room and all, it was tranquil. I read some reviews that got me smiling. If a heater is in the wardrobe ,it shouldn't be a problem as long as its relatively safe therein. everyone has their preference towards beauty and style. Anyway for me I had a wonderful stay with my kid. I got a first time welcome discount, the place was sparkling clean, staff 100% polite and neat, security very tight , the food was amazing and value for my money. I will stay over and over again when ever am in Lagos. Response towards serving me was prompt. I was respected and treated right all the way. It was easy for me to find my way from there too. The beds are of a good size depending on which room you are in, I got a single room and still I was comfortable with a 6yrs old kid so I can confidently say, the beds are comfortable. The mattress is a spring mattress its not like it presses and stays down so if u love it soft and comfy then look towards staying here. For me I can't sleep well on an orthopedic mattress. The ac na die! Amana pumping!!! If u love ac like me, this should be ur option. power was constant while in was there. rooms and bathroom was clean. TV had stations I love. So overall, yes I got a 5* treatment. And I am confidently saying it...
Read moreReviews are meant for people to work on their deficiencies. It's nothing personal. I had a terrible stay here. First night was so bad. The bed keeps sinking in. I couldn't sleep for even 5 minutes. There were no rooms left. I was moved into another room the next day. While I was resting, they kept disturbing my sleep, I want to check this and that.. What? It happened like two times and both times I was sleeping. As if that was not enough, I came back very tired and they gave me a key card. I went all the way up to my room on the second floor to realize that the key was the wrong one. I used the intercom in the next room to reach the reception, the lady said I should bring down the key card to collect another one. I have never heard anything like that! This is pure poor customer service. Okay. I left for exams and while I got back, I met the room flooded and messy. I wasn't told they'll be working in the room for me to move my clothes myself. They handled my clothes. That's a NO NO for me! The curtains and duvet smell badly. I keep telling myself, I'll leave soon. Please learn to communicate with your customers. Example, theres a problem in your room which needs to be fixed, what time would you be away for tomorrow so we can get a plumber to fix it? Fix a time between Xpm to Ypm and it will solve it all. Fix these things and you'll get a...
