Chicken Republic - Jibowu — Restaurant in Lagos State

My experience at this chicken republic wasn’t a palatable one. The only person that made me rate it a 2 star is the manager as he went out of his way to help me boot my phone a bit before I left, he also came to my rescue when I was told there was no chips, he refused with the attendant and went to the kitchen to re confirm , then told me there was chips and I could place my order.

However the place was quite dirty, I kept pursing flies off my food and myself even tho some were lucky to perch on my food several times 🤦‍♂️, there was a particular group having a get together I suppose and there was noise from their end / angle , I didn’t notice any uniformed security personnel and I kept looking out for myself times without number to be sure I was safe.

The chips didn’t look too good as you can see in the picture, the chicken looked more like it’s been bitten by the fryer 😂 lol.

I really don't know where to begin... Should I start from my not being able to use the toilet 🚽 because there was no water... Or to the person I saw sleeping in the lobby... Or to the very poor customers service I received even after spending over ten thousand Naira.... Should I talk about the noise from the production floor... The unorganised production floor.... Should I talk about how I was placing my order with a cashier and before I Knew it, I was asked to place my order with another cashier that she was closed and the next cashier was taking orders from me and another customer at the same time.... . Should I talk about how I was asked to make payments even while still placing order for my family... Should I talk about the quality of chairs and tables in this same outlet.. Should I talk about how the cashier could not give me a receipt because the printer was not working... I had to ask for the manager to come and see what could be done and I never saw any manager.. ... This outlet to me is just very hostile...

Popular eatery. Not on the high side (inexpensive) They sell various Snacks: meatpies, doughnut, Saussages, burger, and the likes. Salads. Ice-creams. Rice. Chicken. Chicken and chips. Spaghetti. Many more.

The offer eat-in, takeout, and they do delivery. Good both adults and children Good for hanging out with friends and family or alone. There are parking spaces.

They have different seating arrangements including high seat. They accept both card and cash payment.

The place was crowded today, probably because of the public holiday.

They adhere to the covid-19 regulations. You need your face mask to enter, temperatures are check at the door and hand sanitisers are also provided.
