We arrived a bit too early for check in, so we went out to walk around and explore the area. It was cold & windy so we ended up for lunch at a nearby restaurant.|There is parking available for guests with cars, so left our baggage in the car while we walked around.|By the time we went back to the hotel our room was ready and we were quickly & efficiently assisted with check in by a Dutch girl at reception (unfortunately cannot remember her name) who was friendly and put up with a lot of our questions haha||The room was a decent size for a couple, we had one of the basic rooms and while walking around the premises also saw that the bigger, fancier rooms looked pretty large & comfortable.|Initially I was a bit concerned about being on the ground level with passersby being able to see into the room, but I ended up really liking it since it gave an interesting angle & view of the harbor & mountains, that one does not always get from hotel rooms.||We had dinner at the hotel, which was a bit pricey, but very delicious with some reindeer on the menu.||Breakfast had some interesting items, but overall a very good selection & variety and friendly & efficient service from the waiting staff.||All in all a modern & new hotel with a cozy & warm vibe, perfect for winter trips, and excellent service from...
Read moreI stayed at Henningsvær Bryggehotell for six nights, and honestly, it couldn’t have been better. The hotel is brand new and beautifully designed - modern, bright, and cozy at the same time, with incredible views of the harbor and mountains.
What really stood out to me, though, was the team. Every single person I met was kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. Even though it’s not a full Hyatt-branded property, they still recognized my Globalist status and offered me a room upgrade without any issue. You can really feel that they care about the guests, and it gives the place such a warm feeling.
And the breakfast - amazing. Fresh, delicious, delicate and with lots of local options (e.g. Omega 3 fish oil). I looked forward to it every morning (especially the cake and smoked fish!).
It’s the perfect place to stay if you want comfort, great service, and that special Lofoten charm. I already miss it and would love to come...

Henningsvær bryggehotell has a perfect location in the heart of Henningsvær village with walking distance to all the attractions and restaurants.
Our room (no 711) was decorated well and equipped with everything you need. Scrupulously clean, quiet and a very comfortable bed. The hotel features bathrobes, a minibar, and a work desk. Additional amenities include a coffee machine, hairdryer, and a seating area (see my attached photos). The view from the room was not very interesting (no sea or mountain view).
The continental buffet breakfast was nice (see my photo).
The free Wi-Fi is really fast. I measured it to 500MB up and down! Electric Car Charging just outside the hotel.
We appreciate the attentive staff and excellent service support.
Ask for a room with sea view if you decide to book a room at this hotel.
