The volunteers of Amigos de Animales have been conducting monthly spay/neuter clinics for about 8 years. From 6-9 vets come mostly from neighboring Costa Rica to offer their services for the day. The entire operation (no pun intended!) runs like a well oiled machine, with stations set up for registration, anesthesia, pre-op and tattooing, surgery, post-op and recovery.
